I've had a few really good CT beers lately. I would be curious what the BA goons have to say but I respect our overlord UEM's hatred of that shoutbox con_tent.
Alvarium continues to put out some excellent beers in several varieties. I had CTRL+ALT+DEL which is a double Altbier and Supa' Phresh which is a DNEIPA. Big rec on both of these of you get a chance to acquire.
I had Pistachio Puff Pastry, from Abomination, which is a White Stout clocking in at 10.1% ABV. A little too sweet for me, but still damn good. This is a perfect beer to split with someone and drink out of a small tulip glass... a full pint is a bit overwhelming because of the sweetness.

Cool can art too:
Agreed on Alvarium. They do several styles really well. I’ve enjoyed the Supa Phresh (and regular Phresh) a time or 2. Haven’t seen that other one but it sounds tasty wasty.
don’t think I’ve had anything from Abomination. Also what’s a white stout?

From Untappd: A white stout is created as a result of omitting dark roasted malts from the grain bill and replacing them with cold steeped coffee, cacao nibs, and/or vanilla beans.

TY. That does sound pretty damn white.
Fat Orange Cat brews a white stout called All Cats Are Gray in the Dark. I would rec, and it's generally available in packies that carry craft beer.
Picked up a 2020 Goose Island BCBS tonight, it was very good. They had a couple of the variants but they were significantly more pricy so I didn't get any. Cool story.

I picked up a couple three of them on Black Friday but haven't had a chance to partake yet. I did get a bottle of the Caramella variation and a bottle of the Oatmeal Stout variation as well.
I still have a couple of the 2019 ones--I drank one of them last week and it was tasty yummy.
This is a pretty cool idea. These people took the popular "March Madness" college basketball tournament, which is famous for its bracket that matches teams up based on their perceived ranking - or "seeding" - and pits them against each other in a single elimination tournament until a champion is crowned... and they applied it to a non-sports concept, in this case yummy wummy beer drinkies. So the idea here is that they took 32 Connecticut breweries, gave them a pre-ranking from 1 through 32 based on their own opinions of which ones were best, and then placed them in a bracket with #1 against #32, #2 against #31, and so on. Then for each matchup, they asked their readers to vote for their favorite. Whoever gets the most votes in each matchup moves on to the next round, and they repeat that process until only one remains.
Anyway, they're down to the Final Four. It's #8 Kent Falls vs. #12 Two Roads, and #2 NEBCO vs. #3 Counterweight. A few thoughts...
Fox Farm was correct as the #1 seed IMHO. Kent Falls as an 8 seed seems way too low. I have no beef with them being in the Final 4, but it's kind of insane that they beat Fox Farm comfortably in the Elite Eight. I think Two Roads is coasting on popularity here because they have a ton of stuff everyone has seen in stores. No beer goon worth his salt would have picked them over Beer'd in the Elite Eight, and they probably should have lost to OEC in the Sweet Sixteen tbh. Alvarium is way underrated as a 10 seed. They should have been like the 5-6. I don't really get NEBCO as the #2 seed, tbh. Their stuff is fine, but they have a really great reputation for some reason. Counterweight would be my pick out of the remaining participants, but I'd be fine with Kent Falls winning.

Prez, thoughts?
Not Prez, and I have limited thoughts.
Two Roads is fine. Nothing spectacular.
Counterweight Headway is one of my favorite beers.
