My buddy just called from Massachusetts, Massachusetts (he's up there for a funeral) and he's going to bring me back a case of Tree House and a couple three bottles of stout. That's what's up.
mj3528 , this is how you make plans to enjoy yummy beer drinks from New England.
You think mj needs tips on how to send someone else to another state to get him beer?

People may remember that I mentioned in the shout box last week that MEW had quite a haul of High West, Tito's Vodka and beer from her client event in Park City which probably spawned a number of Covid cases.
At any rate, this is one of the beers in the haul:
It is from Wasatch which is a local brewery here, but has a pretty wide distribution. It is really good. Crisp and flavorful. Close to, if not better than Ol Factory Pils, wolf knows what I mean
I usually don't like their beers very much so this was a pleasant surprise. At 7% ABV it packs a punch too.

I'm not sure I've seen an imperial pilsner before. I assume that's just like a pilsner but with higher ABV? I'm listening.
I went to Fox Farm today and picked up a few varieties I haven't had before, unfortunately they sold out of both Witch Meadow stouts (a while ago) and the Near and Far DIPA I wanted. So the trip wasn't a total disappointment, I picked up some swag too.
Pub glass: (The Swale they used in the pic for the glass is one of the few varieties I've had from FF that I didn't like)

OK, good talk.
Noice. We went hiking in East Haddam today and were considering swinging over to FF after but pup 3 was starting to melt down so we came home. Uncool story, Wolf.

Any up-dates on this?
I had nice little Friday last.....Friday. Went up to Hill Farmstead to pick up a bunch of beer, including batch 2 of Samuel, the newest BA Dorothy, some Fear and Trembling, and some aluminum cylinders of Edward and George. On the way home I tried to stop at Schilling in Littleton, but since it was 70 degrees, a Friday, and Biden was going to win the election no one cared about Covid and the place was jammed and I couldn't find parking, so I said fuck it and headed to Maine. Hit up Barreled Souls and grabbed my member bottles, including two aluminum cylinders of RBG barrel aged barleywine, lol. #RuthKandaForever.
Cracked an Event Horizon last night. Twas tasty and yummy and flavourful.

I was out of town last week and didn't get to meet up with him. He's got my beer in his possession here in CLT so hopefully I can get it delivered to my home abode this week.
While out of town last week I was able to pick up this beer and this one. Looking forward to trying them soon!
Sounds like some nice beer times you guys are having there in NH and NC.
On Friday evening I enjoyed a really yummy wummy offering of imperial stout from Thomas Hooker Brewery. It's called Thicc AF. Would purchase and drink again.

I thought it was Greg that had the RBG-inspired beer.
