I think Greg is correct. The "hybrid" was banned from high school a few years ago and I actually hadn't heard they made any changes in MLB so I'm not sure. I didn't see anything else that would've made it a balk.
ETA: According to Google: "Lively violated what is known as the “David Price” rule, in which pitchers are required to tell the umpires if they are pitching from the windup or stretch with men on base. The Red Sox had a man at third with two outs in a scoreless game Wednesday when home plate umpire Roberto Ortiz called the balk."
I’m sorry how is that on the pitcher? If that’s a rule, then the umpire should be asking the gd pitcher, not other way around. This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.

I think that's how it's on the pitcher. Just a guess.
AND Fugly JENNINGS IS FUGLY!!!!! Awful White Female Liberal: Eat a dick kite
I don't actually know what the right answer is, but if it's not an out then baseball is stupid. Prez, thoughts?
?
What are you referring to?
I think I forgot to link to the video I was talking about. My bad. It was a random tweet I saw 6 hours ago and don't fee l like searhing for again, but iI can recap. Outfielder jumped to catch a fly ball and got a glove on it, but it then bounced off the wall, and he ended up catching it in his bare hand without the ball ever touching the ground.
I suspect the actual rule is that once the ball touches the wall it's considered "in play" and not a catch. But if that's the case I think it's a dumb rule. IMHO if you touch it first, that's different than a ball that just bounces off the wall and then into your glove/hand; I think the former should be an out, and the latter should bt a hit.

That's more on the base umpires, somebody has to help the HP ump there. Also, is that not reviewable?
Yeah I would expect that to be something they could challenge/review.
I would think and you would think. I can't find anything on MLB about if you can review foul tip. Other, non-MLB sources say you can't because why would you Manfred, why... would you....?
Anyway, shouldn't matter because what is a foul tip?
Foul Tip
Definition
A foul tip is a batted ball that goes sharply and directly to the catcher's hand or glove and is legally caught.
nothing sharp or direct with how it got to the catcher's glove
