Only interesting thing left in this season.
Seems like they played over their heads for much of the season, but the pitching has let them down and the offense really isn't good enough to overcome this for a full slate.

Seems like they played over their heads for much of the season, but the pitching has let them down and the offense really isn't good enough to overcome this for a full slate.
At least they're likeable and entertaining and look like they maybe have some pieces to build around.

Yeah, and that's what sucks, because ownership can sit back and get away with this small market mentality and point to all the prospects coming and WEEEEEEEEE our scrappy group of youngsters can get to the ALCS and stuff, maybe.
They need to trade or sign established pitching. This rotation might turn out okay with Houck, Bello and Crawford, but it could be a couple years.
