My only complaint for week 1 is that I wish the Thursday and Friday night games were a bit more interesting (WVU-Pitt is still pretty decent though), and the early block on Saturday is pretty rough (moot for me because that's when Iowa plays, but still). Otherwise, nice little first week of the season. Oregon-Georgia and ND-tOSU are a nice 1-2 combo at the top, Arkansas-Cincy is really fun, Houston-UTSA is a great lower tier game, Utah-Florida is a great backup to the tOSU-ND game. Even the Sunday night game is interesting between FSU & LSU. Probably the less said about Monday the better though. Let's go.

I think Penn State-Purdue on Thursday is intriguing. Illinois-Indiana on Friday may be worth watching.

I watched some of Illinois-Wyoming on Saturday. I can comfortably say that at no point this year will Illinois be worth watching.
PSU-Purdue is fine. I'm more down on Purdue than most.

As much as I enjoy the week 1 games being great it sets up the next couple weeks to be a massive letdown in terms of quality. Next week's big matchups look like Alabama/Texas, USCw/Stanford, and Baylor/BYU. And week 3 looks awful outside of Miami/A&M.
CFP picks: Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, and A&M. Ohio State over Alabama for the chip.
I would be very annoyed if A & M and Bama both made it.
Ditto, it's like flush wants to ruin the season before it even starts
Theny, go beat them in a couple weeks and ruin their season. That's how you stop it from happening.
I don't think Georgia makes it back to the CFP this year so I had to go with another SEC team since I don't see a second ACC or B1G team or anyone from the Pac/Big 12's making the CFP. A&M made the most sense.

Disrespect to the ISU-Iowa tilt in Week 2. SMH. Once the season gets started, then I will just watch when I have a chance. That 2:30-10 pm (central) time stretch week 1 though is and I like starting the season with a bang.
I think it's going to be a weird year for CFB. I'll go tOSU, Bama (really weird so far), Baylor & Utah.
Utah is a strong pick. If not for JSN, they would have beaten tOSU in the Rose
Utah has everyone back except for Devin Llloyd, big loss and Britton Covey who also would have big games.
Lloyd was replaced by a Florida transfer who led Florida in tackles last year.
Their QB, Cam Rising, is also underrated. He didn't win the starting job last year out of camp, and his dad called him asking if he wanted to transfer. Rising told him no he would be starting before the end of the season which turned out to be true.

Cam Rising, Anthony Richardson, and KJ Jefferson are my favorite just slightly below that top tier of QBs this year.

Beating A & M on the road would REALLY get my hopes up.

You beat A&M at their place and we can start talking you up for the CFP
