Is anyone else watching this show? Twitter seemed to hate the last ep, but I thought it was pretty awesome.
If you are watching, I have a question. I've been meaning to ask this for a few weeks. I guess I'll spoiler it for anyone who wants to watch but hasn't yet...
{Spoiler} Didn't Viserys relieve Otto Hightower of his duties as Hand at some point because of that whole thing where he was putting his personal/house desires over what was best for the realm? When did he become Hand again? Did this actually happen in an epsiode and maybe I was in a BO? Or was it during the big time jump when they changed the actors and stuff, and they glosed over it without an explanation?

{Spoiler} He was removed at one point and then reappointed closer to Viserys’s death. My guess is that they didn’t do a very good job of explaining that it happened during one of the time jumps.

Are you watching, or do you remember that from the book?
Finished this over the weekend. Really enjoyed it, top to bottom I thought it was probably an overall stronger first season than GoT. No single breakout character like Tyrion but really entertaining overall. Given that they've announced 4 seasons I am trying too hard to associate exactly where the season breaks will fall. Probably should just shut my brain off and enjoy it. I assume that after 2024, the remaining 2 seasons will come together a little more quickly, since the time period for the remaining seasons should be pretty condensed.
Binged this. Enjoyed this. I read there are no more major time jumps so all the actors from the finale should play their characters until they meet whatever grisly demise is headed their way.
Someone mentioned it being hard to keep the Targaryens straight. Super annoying that they give them all the same hair style so when someone's back is to you you have no clue who it is.
Anyway, let's see some dragon fights! (In 2024... The fuck)
Solid debut. The ending of the first episode is changed from the book but generally thought it was a good debut. I saw that this season is 8 episodes and unlike the game of thrones books there really aren’t as many predictable season-ending events that I can recall so I have no idea how far they’ll go this year.
Episode 2, not bad. Seemed really long for some reason, but is setting things in motion. I liked the Kingsguard guys going old-school Killer Bees with the final fight. I am much more clueless about how things are going to be paced out than I was with GOT.
Also I was reminded last night while perusing the internet that all the Tullys (Catelyn's family, lords of the riverlands, etc) are named after Muppets.

When they hit that bump in the road during the funeral, I really thought that we were going to see a baby head roll down the road
