I got pizza from a walk-up window by the beach in Maine last week. Place called Rocco's; they appear to only have a facebook page and not an actual website, sorry mj. It was legitimately great pizza. I was pleasantly surprised. The pic doesn't look great, but w.e.
That pizza looks incredible, those seats look substandard
Yeah, it was hard to get 8 in the same section. Even at 4 there was not a lot available. I think there will be a lot of dickhead Red Sox fans there based on past experience.
There were none on the left field which I prefer due to close proximity to the Great Lakes Beer Garden.
First time your mom's ever had a hard time getting 8 in.
I went to OCMD this past weekend, mj wants a recap.
It was Biker Weekend. Incredible. So many choppers, so much trash, huge superspreader, it was amazing. We want to do this weekend every year.
- Friday I get there around 5 to his house, which is on the bay. - Me and 2 pals went to Mothers Cantina for supper. I had chicken fajitas and couple beers. Fajitas were surprisingly very good. - We then went to Sandbar for the night. It was a smallish dumpy bar, all bikers. We played pool. Some 20s cute hammered blonde asked me to be her pool partner against my other 2 friends. She had a BF with her, but she kept chest bumping me and like talking close to me so her tits kept rubbing me. She and her BF were normals, not bikers. Nothing happened, he got her out of there eventually. - Sat we got picked up at 1 PM by the hosts dad on his boat. We boated to Harborside for lunch. We parked the boat on the dock, tons of boats and TONS of Harleys in the parking lot. So many Trump and Fuck Biden flags. Ppl would cheer for Trump flags that boated by. The bar also erupted at some hot chick in a thong in a boat going by. I had wings. We looked at cycles and pretended we werent homos that dont know how to ride. - We then boated to Seacrets. On the way, I drove the boat for like 10 minutes, first time doing that. I almost crashed into some parked boats immediately because for some reason I thought boat steering wheels were reverse of car steering.
Seacrets is awesome, esp mid day. Tons of bikinis, everyone is hammered. Good time
Thats where we seen this chant
- We left there around 7 pm maybe and went back to watch the Penn State game and drink at the house. We kept talking about going out but we never did it. 2 of my pals did go out at midnight, i didn't go. The host was in bed by 11. We were drinking like 9.5 nnf hours, i was done. Nothing good can happen after 12 around bikers. - We knew that Kid Rock and Brett Michaels were in town, but the host failed to tell us the real reasons. I just thought they were doing appearances. He told us they did a concert in the inlet but tix were over $100. We were all like, wtf, why didnt we go to that? It was Kid Rock, Bret Michaels, George Thorogood, Brantley Gilbert.

As previously mentioned, the wife and I took P1 and P2 to a dude ranch to celebrate their 10th and 7th birthdays. Remember Hey Dude, btw? Great show. X-Post Shows from our Youths. Anyway, about our trip... We left P3 with my mom because we were afraid there wouldn't be enough stuff there to keep a 2 year old entertained and didn't want to take away from the boys' bday experience. Turns out it probably would have been to bring her along, but w.e. We drove up there on Sunday afternoon, got there at like 3:30 or 4 IIRC. Signed up for dinner and horse-riding time slots, explored the place to get our bearings a bit, had some dinner, and spent the evening by the indoor pool and hot tub. Then we had a full day on Monday, had to check out of the room by 11 on Tuesday, but were allowed to stay and partake for the rest of the day. We stayed till like 4:00 or so.
Amenities: The accomodations were adequate. Kind of a mini-suite, with a queen bed in one room and bunk beds on the other side, but no door dividing them. The lack of a door is obviously the sole reason I did not event any sexes during the trip. There were 2 bathrooms and 2 mini-fridges (a definite plus because they seemed to give absolutely zero fucks about walking around with open containers). The bed was uncomfortable and I'd probably bring my own pillow if I go back, but we persevered.
Activities: Plenty of stuff to do to keep everyone entertained. Highlights include:
Horseback riding: You are guaranteed one ride per day, and can join the standby line for additional rides if they have horses available. We ended up riding once Monday and twice Tuesday. They take like 30-40 people out at a time, split into 3 groups by experience level. We were in the beginners group, which means the horses remain at a walking pace. The lack of speed got a little boring, but the kids en-joyed it. You ride for about 45 minutes through trails in the woods. We saw a fox on the last ride, which was kind of cool; no other wildlife or anything particularly exciting but I like being in the woods so it was fun. On one of the rides, P2's horse was being kind of an asshole and he sort of panicked a little bit which resulted in him dropping the reins. The horse stepped on the loose reins and ended up breaking it. So the ranch-hand lady that was leading our group had to put his horse on a rope and lead him the rest of the way. He still seemed to enjoy himself. Also my wife rode a horse named PJ.
Mountain Tubing: You sit in a tube and ride down a hill. Like sledding, but without snow. It was fun.
Riflery and Archery range: They had 4 BB guns with various metal targets to shoot at - mostly cowbells and horseshoes - to give you a nice satisfying PING when you hit them. P1 was a pretty good shot, especially considering he'd never held a gun before. On Sunday afternoon there was a lady there that was just embarrassing me with her shooting skills. I had a difficult time with the sights on 3 of the guns, but managed to get the 4th one zeroed in eventually. I think I'd have held my own against this broad if she showed her face again, but I had to settle for just being a better shot than my kids. Neither of the kids did an especially great job of pulling the bow back far enough to get any consistent power in their archery shot, but the target was only like 20 feet away so they still managed to hit it sometimes. Overall it seems like shooting was their favorite activity of the weekend.
Laser Tag: I forgot how fun this game is, tbh. We should do it more often.
Indoor/outdoor pools and slides: There was a big heated outdoor pool with a volleyball net set up at one end, as well as 2 big waterslides and a smaller slide/splash pad area for little kids. The big slides were better/faster than they looked. Fun for all ages. Also a poolside bar where they set up an appetizer station with free "cocktails" (a super sugary rum punch) available from 3-4PM every day. I drank like 7 of those on Monday, almost got a buzz, and had a pounding headache the rest of the night. Indoors there was another pool, another little kids' area, and one more big slide. Also a huge indoor/outdoor hot tub, which was basically just outdoors but you could enter it from inside. There was room for like 2 people to sit in the indoor part of it. Gas firepit next to the hot tub too. We hung out in that area with a coupla few beers till like 9:00 both nights.
Sports and stuff: Mini golf, shuffleboard, ping pong, basketball courts, baseball field, volleyball court. We played 3 rounds of mini golf; I shot the exact same score (22 on 9 holes) all 3 rounds, winning twice. P1 allegedly shot a 20 the second round, but I think he was shaving strokes. Shuffleboard was fun; I hadn't played that in a coon's age. We played some wiffle ball on the diamond, which was fun until P1 tried to throw the ball up to himself and hit it, while P2 was walking towards him from like 5 feet away. I could see the whole thing unfolding but was powerless to stop it, and he drilled him square in the face with the bat. He's fine.
Bungee jump and rock climbing: Not actual bungee jumping, but those trampoline things where they put you in a harness attached to bungee cords so you can jump really high and not kill yourself. The boys spent a lot of time here. I bounced once and successfully navgated the Medium rock wall; I was one grab away from the top on the Hard wall and lost my grip. Probably should have tried again, but I pussied out.
Entertainment: Sunday night they had a show with a dude doing yo-yo tricks. All the kids in attendance loved it. It was a little long maybe, but the dude actually did some really cool stuff. I've seen far worse shows. Monday night's show was some dance nonsense, so we skipped it.
Arcade: I believe this was the only thing in the whole place (besides booze) that you had to pay extra for. Somehow we got out of there without partaking. This is truly a miracle, as the arcade is typically the thing my kids are most interested in pretty much anywhere we've ever gone.
Food & Drink: Food was all-inclusive, and honestly pretty good (by non-mj standards, anyway).
Breakfast: Buffet with the usual stuff - pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, fruit, yogurt, etc. You could also order omelets, fried eggs, or benedicts from the kitchen. Everything was delicious.
Lunch: Buffet in an outdoor picnic area. A lot of BBQ on both days' menus, plus a salad bar, bugers/dogs, chicken fingers, and the like. Yesterday's brisket was excellent IMHO.
Dinner: Normal sit-down service with a different menu each night. I risked a NY strip on Sunday night; it was meh, and defiitely the worst meal I had the whole time. I had short ribs Monday, and enjoyed it muchly.
Snacks: A little lacking IMO. The 3:00-4:00 poolside appetizers were the only opportunity to eat anything between meals. I guess that was fine because I ate a ton of food at lunch both days. But my kids are snackers and weren't really hungy at lunch time, so they were whiny in the afternoons.
Booze: There was a poolside bar in the afternoons, bar service available with dinner, and a bar open from like 6-9 I think. I didn't partake in any of these (other than the free run punch I mentioned above) because we brought a bunch of beer. There was nothing advertising whether you were allowed to BYOB, but they gave absolutely zero fucks about people walking around with beverages that they clearly didn't buy there. We brought solo cups, but there were people with open containers and no one batted an eye.
Scenery: A little lacking, but there were 2 moms that I took a real liking to. One of them was a young Latinx woman who kinda reminded me of Marta from Arrested Development. The other I initially thought was a Utah 10 - early 40s, blonde, thin, giant tits. Upon closer inspection in better light, I realized her hair was not actually blonde, but gray. And not even that weird dyed gray/platinum thing that chicks do sometimes; like, actual old lady gray hair. Hands down the hottest gray-haired broad I've ever seen. We ran into this family all the time, and at one point my wife remarked to me that she didn't know what this woman was doing with the gray hair. I replied, "She's pulling it off." That went over well, obviously. Seriously though, this broad was a knockout. Wolfette was shocked by the fact that I found her attractive. There were also a couple of employees who I liked the way they sit a horse, as 31 would say. One of them - I think her name was Adriana - led 2 of our 3 rides, and was the one who helped P2 with his broken reins situation. She wasn't a conventional beauty /mj but she had a nice butt and I enjoyed my time around her.
Covid protocol: Other than a sign at the door saying "Masks aren't required if you're vaccinated, but the CDC recommends them indoors; by being here, you accept the risk of getting/spreading Covid" and hand sanitizer stations all over the place, it was basically non-existent. Most of the employees wore masks indoors, and a couple even had them on outside. I'd say less than 20% of adults were masked, and very few children - who were mostly under 12 and therefore unvaccinated. I assume Magnum is going to be mad at me when there's an outbreak at school, but I think we'll be OK.
All things considered, this was a fun trip and I think we'd go back. My only beef was that a lot of the activities had really weird hours. Almost everything - including the pool - closed from 12-1 for lunch. The tubing was only open from 10-2, and several other outdoor activities closed by 4 or 5. It was fine, but it was kind of annoying to have to plan out the day's schedule based on everything having different hours. Seems like they had plenty of employees to just have everything outside open all day and then close it around dark. But in any case, we made the most of it and had a nice little time.

Good recap. As I mentioned in the box, that sounds extremely fun for your kids. I wish there was some place like that when I was growing up.
As to wolfette being confused about why you thought that not really a Utah 10 was attractive, women always underestimate guys' attraction to bodies.
I remember years ago when my chum was dating two women and it was getting to a point that he had to make a choice. A bunch of us were out talking about the decision, and all of the women thought he should choose the one girl, and all the guys thought he should choose the other with the better body.
FWIW, this chick with the gray hair had a beautiful face too IMHO. The tits were what caught my attention initially, but I've always been a face guy and I liked hers.

Saw this tweet and thought it'd be a cool board game to bring along the next time you go:
