Aside from Ted Lasso, i really like Mythic Quest. Made by the Sunny guys. It's about a video game studio trying to manage a World of Warcraft style game. The first season was sort of standard IASIP humor in a new setting, which was fine and very funny. This season they're getting kind of experimental with it and i think it's really good. Most recent one was a flashback about their head writer (F Murray Abraham) getting his big break in the 70s, and last week's was a bottle episode about the employees not wanting to sign their personality profiles for HR. If you have Apple TV because you recently bought an iphone or whatever, it's worth watching.

gotta be. i assume that's the idea, if you get some percentage of people to buy another device 6 months early because they want to watch Ted Lasso you've paid for the content and more.

to me it was OK, but they have so far this season gone really overboard with the schmaltz. i guess i get that it's a christmas episode and it's supposed to be saccharin, and also apparently this is one of the 2 additional episodes Apple asked them to do that weren't a part of the original 10 episode season so it might not have gotten the full editing treatment.

Re: the rest of the eps so far, Roy Kent is far and away the best character this season.

It's Roy Kent and Coach Beard pretty close to me, then I'm not really even sure. Higgins maybe?

Much better this week. Roy continues to be the star of the show. i had to rewind this episode two different times to understand what people were saying. Once for Keeley when Rebecca did her scary bird pose (the line was "lets invade france") and once for Roy but that one was mostly because i was laughing so much at the Wario comment that i didn't hear the 2nd half of it.

The first ep of Ted Lasso really didn't hook me when I tried it a month or so ago. For some reason I was watching TV with my wife ln instead of watching sports, so we gave this show another shot. We watched 4 eps and I enjoyed all of them a lot. I get the hype and am excited to continue watching.
