Nearly had an epic WhatIfSports day over the weekend.
My DIII Oberlin Yeomen advanced to the national semifinals for the second straight season, but lost 38-31 after falling in four overtimes last season. Carried the lead into the final quarter but was outscored 14-0 ending my season. Drats.
On the other side of the coin, my Kent State Golden Flashes moved to 5-0 with a shocking 29-24 upset of THE Ohio State Buckeyes. Within the world of the game, there are 14 "elite" programs that have pretty substantial advantages making them really tough to beat. However, here we are. The icing on the cake/31, is that I applied for the Ohio State job when it was last open, but it went to the current coach. I also got denied the Miami job, another elite, but my resume grows. I'll be at an elite soon.

CG thinks my oral skills are, top -notch but MEW is less than enthusiastic but NACB would dis-agree if things were different and Grace;Potter would vouch for me.
