Got my fifth Royal Flush last night in the last 7 years. Got a nice $900 bonus for it. Too bad it was hearts instead of diamonds. The diamond royal would have paid $6500.

Had one of those rare days where people were just throwing money at me when I had monster hands, and they were unable to draw out.
I did not have to make any moves to steal pots and outplay people. I just shoved piles of money in the middle and always at least one donkey would call.

Played 5 hours. Won $3851.
Ditto. Is that the most you have ever won in one session?

Some older black guy comes into the poker room cussing himself out for not being patient down in the pits and gambling it away.
I'm sitting at an empty table waiting g to get in a game. He comes and sits down at a seat right next to me.
Ive played with this guy before. Nice guy, maybe a little mentally challenged.
He starts telling me some bad beat story on how the craps lady put his bet in the wrong spot and then he went broke. Wanted to borrow $100 and he was going to let me hold his ring until he repaid. I politely declined.
Only second time in 11 years someone has asked to borrow money from me.
First was 3 weeks ago in that crazy game where I won close to $4k. A big time gambler goes broke early. I've played with him for years. He owns his own high end construction business. He said he forgot his envelope of cash in his truck. He would pay me $20 if I would lend him $1000. I did with zero hesitation. He had the $20 on him and paid that immediately. Four hours later, he was broke again. He was leaving. He offered me another $20 if I'd follow him down to his truck so he didn't have to come back up. I told him I was going to cash out anyway. He could keep that second $20 and I'd go to his truck with him. Get to his truck in valet and he's just got a fat envelope of cash on his seat.

Yada yada yada, he gave me the $1050 and I went home.
