I've learned very quickly that you're too far gone at this point to Scaredy Land to try and reason with. I was mostly addressing people who aren't overly woke lunatics.
I don’t believe I’m an overly whole lunatic. I think it’s perfectly normal to say “black” to describe a black person. I also understand that a lot of lunatics may overhear someone using “black” as a logical and useful descriptive adjective, and somehow managing to spin it into racism. So yokel, being conscious of how his and/or his kid’s words might be interpreted by others, was being unnecessarily careful because unfortunately that’s the way you have to be in a world full of retards.
no no he's right, it's woke to think your 7 year old might misunderstand the use of a word and apply it incorrectly in a public setting. there's not a whole sitcom trope devoted to it.

I almost literally have a conversation daily with a black guy and I use black as the descriptive every time. Not an ounce of a problem.
We do not have these conversations on twitter.

the problem is that a child does not understand the various applications of a word. at no point did i say the word black is wrong or a problem. goddammit kite it worked, congrats.

Pup 1 was trying to describe a Super Bowl commercial to me, my explaining what one of the guys looked like. I thought it sorta sounded like that one with Samuel L. Jackson, so I said, "Is it a black guy?" He said it's not. I still have no idea what commercial he was discussing, but my question helped to move the conversation forward.

What worked? You remember for a brief, fleeting instant that normal people live in the real world and behave like normal people?
I'm genuinely racking my brain for an example of my 7 or 9 year old using the wrong application of "black" to describe a black. And even if they did, how I could avoid that reflecting on myself. It's wild, man.
AND Fugly JENNINGS IS FUGLY!!!!! Awful White Female Liberal: Eat a dick kite

maybe we're not connecting on my level of concern here. it's not very high. i would like to avoid a potential embarrassing encounter with a stranger, and i believe given the opportunity my son would tell a cashier they have poofy hair like his black cousin. is there anything wrong with that statement? no. do i want to be there for that? no.

Also, unlike you Kite, Yokel is likely to encounter a black person.

Yes, there is one in his family. The very person we are discussing.
