I have a couple thoughts on the landscape of college football
UGA defense is absolutely insane. I dont see how they lose...unless their offense shits the bed, which I could see happening. Their offense is not that stellar imo. If they get behind early, I could see them maybe struggling.
Maybe I'm missing it but I don't get why Oregon is so low. They're currently in the playoffs, they beat tOSU but tOSU will likely jump them after the next 2 weeks if they win, but they still seem comfortably ahead of Cincy. I don't see wins against SMU and Houston majorly moving the needle.
Fun schedule wrinkle this weekend: If Utah loses vs Oregon, they're still in contention for the Rose Bowl. However, if they win, there's basically no way they'll do better than the Alamo.

Call me crazy but I think Wake's chances are way too low. If they win out and beat Pitt in the ACCCG they'll be 12-1 with their only loss to UNC. They'll also have wins over NC State, Clemson, and Pitt on their resume. It's not great but there's a chance that chaos takes down Cincy, Bama (loss to Auburn in the Iron Bowl, for example), Ok St, OU, and Oregon.
Georgia is basically already in even with a loss to Alabama in the SECCG. Alabama is basically in even with a loss to Georgia in the SECCG (and wins elsewhere). The winner of MSU/OSU gets in if MSU wins out or OSU wins out (including the B1GCG). ND is the most likely 4th participant.

I still am not convinced Bama makes it in with 2 losses. At least not over power 5 1 L teams or even an undefeated Cincy.
I think Georgia wins the SEC. I think Bama slides out, and if OK State beats up on OU, then I'd pick them as the 4th. Otherwise, I still think it winds up being Cincy at 4 after presumably Georgia, tOSU and Oregon.
So Lincoln Riley to USC, huh. I wonder if he bolts if they would've won Bedlam Saturday night. Sounds like Bob Stoops will coach OU in the bowl game. What are the odds Stoops stays on full time?

I’d be pretty shocked. Seems like Mark is a possibility though.

Strong move by Riley.
Skips out on OU going to SEC to take a P5 job where he will really only have to face down Chip and Oregon.

The situation is crazy. Oklahoma is usually considered a destination job, not a stepping stone job.
Being rich and living in L.A. has to be better than living in Norman, doe. Cheese, thoughts?

I think UEM's point about moving to the SEC is the main reason. I'm guessing they put OU in the SEC East but it's still going to be difficult going against UGA for recruits. And you have to think Florida and Tennessee won't be down much longer.
