At some point the right did start to elevate his status but really in response to the left completely lying and misreporting the facts of the situation.
Rittenhouse is a dipshit and shouldn't have gone there, much like people should not have been rioting, but it was insane how much the mainstream media got wrong about the case. I wonder why that was.

Literally the only reason I'd be able to come up with the Sandy Hook shooter's name is because of this place. Also, whether they live or die makes a huge difference.

Yeah, imprecise wording by me. Shocker. I was referring to Rittenhouse. I thought Rittenhouse's status became more elevated after the media was fact checked on their inaccurate reporting. I might not have been paying attention to the early coverage.
Age too. Race definitely played a huge angle there because it inherently had racial undertones, even though ironically it was all a bunch of white people that were really involved in the case.

I have heard about those women being killed and that they were Asian, but until I read that article I had no idea the suspect was Black. Contrast that to the white incel who killed the Asian massage parlor workers which was constantly framed as white supremacy.
