paje--please beat them this weekend. Do it for America.
Imma try. My D coordinator is likely taking the Vandy Head Coaching job and I don't need that kind of distraction during ACC Championship Game week!!
By the way, who could have guessed Notre Dame would play in a conference championship game before Michigan.
Well, that was a suboptimal result on Saturday. I don't know, part of me was hoping they'd put A&M in there and ND could go against Florida in the Orange Bowl or something like that. It sucks, it was such a fun season that is going to end with a flat loss to Clemson and then a curb stomping by Alabama. The thing is like 80% of the national semifinal games have been blow outs, so ND losing to this Bama team with three legit Heisman candidates is par for the course I guess.
The only good thing is that Oklahoma, 0-4 all time in the playoff and lost 63-28 last year, got ranked 6th with two losses, so I guess the committee doesn't hold past performance against these teams.
It's ridiculous how far out ahead Alabama and Clemson are in this sport. Ohio St. is clearly 3rd, but even they are a step behind the other two. Notre Dame made the playoffs two of the last three years and went 11-2 in between. They have been a legit top 7 program and have 0 chance of winning the national title.

I am not good at this, but I like Ohio State vs Clemson. I think the line is like 7.5. I would take the points. I dont think Clemson is world beaters.

OSU is certainly capable of beating Clemson. They had a sluggish win over NW and Clemson looked good against ND, so recency bias may be playing a part. OSU should be fresh since they only played six games and there is a revenge game factor after last year's semis. I think if both teams play their best games, Clemson is probably a touchdown better., so I'd say that line is about right. This is why I don't gamble, I can see either outcome happening equally.

knew right away it wasn't going to happen when ND wasted Lawrence's pick. ND (and OSU) needs a perfect performance to beat full strength Clemson. Also very depressing to see Clemson has ANOTHER freshman WR who'll dominate for 3 years. EJ Williams is real good. Lawrence throwing to Rodgers and Williams with Etienne as a guaranteed 10 yard safety valve is a goddamn cheat code and i hate it.
