The Irishman was better on the rewatch. It’s not goodfellas but I’d put it on par with the departed. The de-aging is distracting, I’m sure that will get better in future movies. Also, Al Pacino sucks. Other than that, great flick.

I Watched a movie this weekend that was shockingly good. Its called "Shot Caller", and it stars Jamie Lannister, Ghost from Power on Starz, and Cheddar Bob. Strong, strong rec. It is on Netflix, but is obviously not a Netflix original (bc it doesnt suck).

It's incredible. Even my wife loves it. We're a couple eps into S2. We just saw the one where the daughter starts kindergarten, and one of the older kids tells her about periods and stuff. When they come home and the babysitter tells them that she asked to see her clitoris... Holy shit. My wife was laughing so hard that she actually said, "Oh my god, I can't even see."
Seriously, this may be the funniest show of all time, and it seems to be largely unknown. Everyone should watch it.

I watched a 2013 Jake Gyllenhall joint called Prisoners ln. Ppl in slack were talking about it and how great it is. It was very good. By the end, I think i realized that I had seen it before. Nothing else seemed familiar except the final 10 minutes or something. The nerd with the huge D from Girl Next Door plays a creep in this.
