Seen any good movies recently?

Are they still following one storyline or did they fracture like Halloween?

Took the oldest to see the Hunger Games prequel on Saturday night. He loved it, I thought it was a bit of a slog in parts but overall very good. Great cast, the main dude I've never even heard of but I thought he was really good, the actress is the star of the West Side Story remake from last year and I think I'm in love. Apparently one of the other leads is trans, OF COURSE. In any case, I thought it was tougher to deal with the fact that they were killing off kids (mostly because with maybe one exception, they didn't make any of them "bad guys" really). The ending doesn't exactly land, but I remembered that from the book so I wasn't surprised. If you liked the Hunger Games, it's absolutely worth a watch. If not, don't bother.

DeNiro the Slow Adult was at mj's Gotham Awards to discuss that 50 hour Scorsese film, so naturally he bashed Trump. He states that the awards show removed Trump's name from his script before he went out. This fucking dork.

the libs are brilliant. By constantly saying untrue things all the time the sheep that vote for them believe them. And the media never calls them out on it. Russian Collusion right? Again, why has no one in the media questioned why Putin, who had a President he helped get elected that was his puppet bc there was videos of him pissing on women, didn’t invade Ukraine during that Presidency?

That’s a great flick. Doesn’t get the recognition it deserves IMO. Definitely wouldn’t fly today though; like 98% of the plot revolves around homophobia and fucking underage girls.
