Somehow, two of the survivors made me hate them. White people, OF COURSE. Also the tribal shaman-type guy being interviewed says something completely ridiculous, as well.
Simmons co-produced a documentary on Amazon about the G-League. Watched it on Saturday night, it's pretty solid. Not a ton of great insight or anything but the players' stories were all pretty entertaining. Gonna guess the Orthodox Jewish kid from a D3 school is going to face an uphill climb to make it to the league.

are documentarians always so confrontational with their subjects? I thought these things were to get the subjects talking, not interjecting yourself. She kept asking them if they regret J6 and if they still believe in Trump. She was aghast every time they said they still support Trump.

I enjoyed this a lot. Especially the early career stuff, just his comedic process for lack of a better term and how he did the variety and talk shows. His movies, tbh, with the exception of Defending Your Life are kind of forgettable to me (insert mj talking about how much he loves Broadcast News here). In any case, if you like Brooks, you'll probably enjoy it.
