i watched one about this art gallery that "accidentally" sold $80mm of fake Jackson Pollocks and other modern art forgeries. i forget what it was called but it's on Netflix. It was pretty captivating actually. the lady running the gallery, imo, she thought they were real at first and by the time she figured it out she was too deep in it to turn around and just doubled down. She claims to have believed they were real until the FBI stepped in, but pretty early on one of the Pollocks was shown by an independent lab to have used paint that was not available until after his death. Her response was to refund the buyer his $2mm and re-auction the painting for $18mm. Pretty sweet gig! She got no jail time and now runs her own gallery in NYC.

Essentially its about an altercation at a Florida gas station in 2012 between 4 Black youths and one white trash guy that ended in bloodshed and one death of a Black youth called Jordan Davis.
The altercation arose because the white trash guy was pumping gas, and the 4 Black youths were blaring that rap music. I guess he told them to turn it off or lower it, they refused. Words exchanged. The one called Jordan Davis was supposedly the most uppity. The WT guy claimed that he thought he was in danger so he got his pistol and fired 10 shots into the car, killing Davis. Turned out the youths had no weapons, but he still could of felt they may beat him up.
Legal shit: He argued Stand Your Ground. That didn't work, he was convicted on 3 counts of attempted murder 2nd degree (90 years) as well as guilty for firing a gun into an occupied car (another 15 years). - But the 1st degree murder charge went to mistrial. The way I understand 1st degree murder, it means premeditated and planned out. How was this premeditated. It was an argument that escalated IMO. - So they went back to trial and he was convicted of 1st degree also.
I didn't get it it. I do assume the guy called Michael Dunn was and is a racist, i mean look at him. But letter of the law, i feel like he did get screwed somewhat. The thing that extra sucked is he was literally driving home from his own son's wedding when he stopped for gas. Bad timing, du.

Not sure the format this will take or if it is attached to any particular streaming service, but The Last Dance people seem to be making a Doyle Brunson series.
