Not buying a product because you don't like the way that they are going about their business is the absolute right way to go about voicing displeasure and, if someone loses their job, especially if their entire role is helping to increase profits, then they should go.

I wouldn't make calls for her to be fired but it is a direct consequence of her doing her job poorly.
