I've been stashing Austin Ekeler and Raheem Mostert in my IR spots for several weeks. It appears that both are slated to return for Week 12, which leaves me with some roster decisions to make:
First, I need to drop a player to make room. This will likely be Darrell Henderson or Travis Fulgham. I could also drop Aaron Rodgers (my other QB is Josh Allen; maybe you've heard of him), but I just can't bring myself to do that. I could try to trade a QB, but I don't have very high hopes of pulling something off before Friday's trade deadline.
Then I also need to settle on a starting lineup for the week. I have Kamara locked in as RB1, and if Ekeler plays I think I have to use him. Diggs and Robert Woods are my top 2 WRs. That leaves the following options for the flex (unless of course you'd also start someone from this group over Ekeler/Woods):
Mostert
Tyler Boyd
D.J. Chark
Damien Harris
Amari Cooper
This is an embarrassment of riches IMHO, but after a lineup decision (starting Chark over Cooper) cost me a W last week, my lead for the #1 seed has now been narrowed to just 1 game so I need to win to stay in the driver's seat. Balls, your comments?
I wouldn't drop Rodgers. He's a top 8 QB rest of season, so he's going to make someone's lineup better. I don't know what trading a QB would do because you'd still need to drop someone. I think Henderson is the answer, but wouldn't be crazy if you dropped Fulgham either. Based on you team there is no reason you should be starting either one.
I hate start/sit decisions and often get them wrong myself, but I would go with Kamara/Ekeler at RB and Diggs/Woods at WR with Boyd as the Flex followed by A. Cooper. As along as Ekeler is a full go.

If I tried to trade Rodgers it would be a 2-for-1 to free up a roster spot. There has been one trade in this league all year, so it doesn't seem worth the effort. I'll probably just drop Henderson.
That's the exact lineup I have set at the moment. I'm way down on Cooper because the Cowboys suck, so I'm not sure he'd be my next choice, but TY for the thoughtful response. This has been nice.
Since you asked... Starting Ekeler was the right move. Starting Boyd over Cooper was definitely not. And none of it mattered because the rest of my team completely shit the bed, and the worst team in the league put up a score against me that has only been topped like 2-3 times all year. This fake sport is so fucking stupid.
I left Cooper and Antonio Gibson on my bench. I was going to start John Brown but when they announced he was out, I thought I had switched him to Cooper, but it turns out that I switched him to Jerry Jeudy. Who had a receiver throwing to him.
My team actually put up points otherwise but I would have gotten destroyed regardless as my opponent had Deshaun Watson and Tyreek Hill.

Hill was OK yesterday. He has 3 straight games with 9+ catches 100+ yards and at least 1 TD. Seems like a good guy to have around.
Here's some whining about my fantasy team that absolutely no one gives so much as a single fuk about....
Readers of Monday's shoutbox mj will recall that on Monday afternoon I was struggling with the decision of whether to start Juju Smith-Shuster is the game that at that time was scheduled for Tuesday night, or if I should pick up a shitty WR from the MNF Eagles-Seahawks game and start that guy instead. I needed about 19 points from Russell Wilson and this WR spot combined.
Things I could have done that would have resulted in a W:
Left Smith-Shuster in my lineup. Since they did end up playing that classic WAF game, which counted towards the standings, his 17 fantasy points would have been more than enough to win.
Picked up either Alshon Jeffery or David Moore in the MNF game.
Been proactive with this decision on Sunday, and started any one of 5 different players on my bench rather than Juju.
Things I did:
Picked up something called a Greg Ward, who had 1 catch for 3 yards, leaving me 0.9 points short of a much-needed victory.
Also, fuck DK Metcalf for dropping that would-be TD in the 4th quarter, which would have given Russ another TD pass and more than enough to make up the margin of defeat. This fake sport remains so, so stupid.
This pretend sport continues to be retarded, so I'll write another post about my team that no one cares about. In my other league, I thoroughly dominated through Week 11. I was 9-2, with a one game lead and nearly 200 points more than the second place team, and averaging just shy of 140 points per week. I think got 2 key players (Ekeler and Mostert) back from IR. So things are looking great to close out the regular season and prepare for a deep playoff run.
You can obviously see where this is going... I proceed to post a pathetic 116 points in back to back weeks, losing both while the second place team picked up 2 Ws. I still outscored him by 100+ points on the season, but my miserable showing down the stretch cost me the #1 seed. This basically means nothing in the grand scheme of things, as there's no prize for regular season champ and the top 2 teams both get a bye. But it really grinds my gears.
As an added bonus, I'd have won this week if not for my decision to bench SOTSG-famous Josh Allen in favor of a young upstart by the name of Aaron Rodgers who one pundit has recently declared might be good.
I'm entering the postseason as the top seed in my league with a semifinal match up against Monty. If he doesn't get CMC back this week, I'll be a strong favorite as his QB (Rodgers) gets most of his points throwing to my WR (Adams).
This has been a post with information.

I suppose I'll also share that after a Week 12 victory over the one and only Francis T. Tancis, I have moved up from 7th place to 5th in the league I care more about. I'd probably rather have had the 6 seed, as the 3rd place team is low-key terrible and would have been an easy first round playoff opponent for me. As it is, I will be facing a tough squad led by Patrick Mahomes. I'm listed as a very slight favorite, but that is largely a function of Yahoo projecting Russell Wilson to actually be good against the Jets. I'm skeptical; LDOT knows what I mean.
I was down by 38 points going into Monday night with my opponent having Pat Mahomes and me having Kelce and Josh. Of course, as everyone would have expected, I ended up only down 1, with him having Hollywood Brown for the Ravens and me having Amari Cooper. Cooper got the late touchdown to give me a win by a point.
I'm in 2nd, but tied with 3 other teams, so nobody has clinched a playoff spot. I play the first place team this week, but have a pretty secure total points lead over the other teams so I have virtually clinched a spot in the playoffs but am not quite there yet.
One league - Number 1 seed, most points, first round bye. My team is beatable though. There are probably four teams that could win it but having the bye helps.
Other league - 5 seed, first round match-up vs. the #4 seed. It so happens this is the same team I played this past week. They beat me by nine points. My RBs were CEH, who I didn't realize was sick and going to sit out the Sunday night game, and A. Gibson who got 14 yards before getting injured, so I got 1.4 points total from the RB spot.
