There's this guy in my league who has an all-time horseshoe up his ass. It seems like every year he limps into the playoffs and then runs the table. He's won the league 3 of the last 4 years IIRC, and never has anywhere close to the best team all year. I'm playing him this week - if I win I clinch a playoff berth and he would need a ton of help next week to sneak in; If he wins, we will be part of a 3-way tie for the last 2 spots and I'll be in a do or die contest next week.
I entered the week as a slight favorite. Then he lost Lamar Jackson, and at the end of the 1:00 games I had a commanding lead and Yahoo had me projected over 80% to win. I then proceed to receive a combined 6.9 points (nice) from Travis Kelce and Jeff Wilson in the late afternoon games, and now I'm projected at 76% to lose. What a stupid fake sport.
As an aside... This dude is married to Mr. Met's ex-girlfriend, and also took his place in the fantasy league when Mr. Met moved to Texas. Hell of a cucking, in More Cowbell's opinion.
