Ts. I have him in 1 of my 2 leagues. I managed to squeak out a W in that league anyway, thanks to Ryan Succop's big performance last night.

Here's a weird thing that happened to me in that league... Thursday night, I put Gabe Davis in my lineup shortly before kickoff. When I checked scores Friday morning, Davis and his 18.8 points were on my bench. I believe I lamented about this in the shoutbox, and assumed I fucked up somehow and didn't click save or something. Then yesterday I was making a final lineup check before the 1:00 games started, and Davis was back in my starting lineup. Sweet app you have there, ESPN. Anyway, using him over Josh Jacobs made the difference in winning vs. losing, so I am pleased to find out that I did indeed get credit for his points.

What a story.

I’m doing my best to prove that old “if you have 2 QBs…” adage. After waiting way too long on QB in the draft, I got stuck with a very impressive Lawrence/Fields combo. 5 weeks in, and I’ve picked the wrong one every single time. Only once have I gotten more than 9 points from my starter. But barring a huge second half from Davante Adams tonight, I’m about to be 3-2. We can build on this!

After making the wrong start/sit decision 6 straight weeks, I had to drop someone for injuries/byes. Obviously I dropped Fields. In the 3 weeks since, he’s gone for 24, 30, and 50 points. Good job, good effort.

Moved to 0-10 in my one league. Decided after getting to 0-9 I'm just gonna tank for draft position next year. And wouldn't you know it I still almost won this week because of Justin Jefferson and Christian Kirk. I also started Eno Benjamin and Dontrell Hilliard at RB. So I almost went from failing at trying to win to failing at trying to lose. What a sport!

My other team is a wagon. 10-2, guaranteed top-2 seed and it would take a lot to fall out of the #1 spot. If we redrafted for rest of season today, I think I’d have 3 top-5 picks and another first rounder. Of course this is the league with far less money on the line. I thrive in low-money leagues for some reason.

Congrats on your fake footballing prowess. I, too, am 7-5 in one league but in third place instead of 6th. In my other league I've moved to 0-12. This week I'm only a 2 pt underdog in that matchup so there's a chance I get my first W!

The only motivation I have remaining is to try to win the consolation tournament to get the #1 draft position next season. Otherwise yeah I'd shoot for perfection.
