Season 2 has the episode that starts with that sweet montage from some B list nu metal band. I remember it being awesome. 

Solid Season 3 The Shield. 

I have to admit, I actually laugh out loud sometimes when they try to do a dramatic scene. Mackey is a great actor as a cop, but when he tries to be serious about life, a lot of times its so awkward IMO. He also really straddles the line between great guy and fucking scumbag. He has no problem dropping (killing) guys if they threaten his own freedom.

Prez: Season 4 is kind of a slog, but business is pickin up on the back half of the season. 

I am certain you dont remember everything, but its the season where Glenn Close (she is awful) is the Police Chief, and Anthony Anderson is their number one target. Honestly, Anthony Anderson is GREAT on this show. I didnt think he had it it in him to play a ruthless gangbanger, but damn he is good. He should get away from all the gay shit he's into now and do something like this again.

I read somewhere that Hulu will be cracking down on password sharing starting in mid March. That prompted me to text my kid and ask for his login. I'm almost done with Season 1 of The Shield, thoroughly en joying the re-watch, it holds up pretty well 20 yrs later. 

Forgot Carl Weathers was on The Shield for a few eps as Mackey's mentor.

Season 5 is a banger. Forrest Whitaker is on this season. He’s fantastic. His speech mannerisms are very similar to The Weeknd in The Idol, the best show of 2023.

I appreciate no spoilerz, I'm not far behind Ballz now in my rewatch. I'm in the tail end of S4, Glenn Close was a weird choice to be the Captain.
