So Dustin is that male cops dad? Is Jodie Foster the mom? She acts like she is, she fights with Dustin about everything, yet Dustin told the kid that they are blood and that Jodie isnt. And the plot...my god are they serious?
I told PJ that the scenery is good. And I like the tense music. Thats whats keeping me tuning in for now, but I have low hopes for how it plays out

I only caught it bc I’m an old and have closed captioning on and saw the name and how it was spelled. Also, Tuttle industries is a call back to season 1 too
I watched the first ep of True Detective. Balls and I chatted about it offline, NBD. It seems pretty good, I'll keep watching.
PJ, regarding your comment about JF being the hottest woman in Alaska... I'm reminded of an old Kurt Metzger bit about people fucking animals in Alaska. He says something like, "After seeing the women there, I have to believe some of those guys were just making an honest mistake." Also is there something I missed in the show that implies the characters think she's hot, or is this just your observation that you think everyone on the show is ugly?

it just seemed odd to me that 61 year old Jodie Foster was playing this desirous woman in the show. Idk it was just weird.
But every other woman on the show is a fat Eskimo so maybe foster is the best of a bad bunch

Indeed I did. I don't remember if she's actually supposed to be some kind of Eskimo, or if she's just a black chick. I just assume the non-white people are natives. In any case, she looks black and reminded me of the Attell bit.
