The wife and I watched the first 2 eps of that Flight Attendant show this weekend. It's watchable. I very much enjoy Kaley Cuoco as a drunk slut (which I guess was sort of her role in Big Bang Theory too, but that was a CBS sitcom; HBO really unlocked her potential with the skimpy outfits and potty mouth).
I would advise you to bail now. After episode 1, the thing goes off the rails /31.
That show is so terrible IMO.
We stuck it out and watched the rest of S1. It's completely off the rails and utterly absurd. I sorta love it. The ending was far too "clean" to warrant a second season IMO, but I'll watch it. I think it drops this week.

I saw a story this weekend about Kaley C getting divorced for the second time, and she has sworn off marriage from now on. She could get over here, I guess.
We Own This City is good so far. I didn't know any of the story before since this all happened fairly recently. So many appearences from The Wire. Good for David Simon giving those guys work. A lot of the street guys from The Wire play cops in this. Marlo playing a detective especially, thought not as big a deal if you've seen Bosch.
Jon Berenthal went all in on that Bawlmer accent. Came it hot from the first scene.
I have 2 episodes left. I love it. The casting of most of the players is really good (Magic & Kareem in particular, plus the son of Norm Nixon playing him is a nice touch). It's not easy to find that many tall actors. Using Avon as Spencer Haywood was a bit of a stretch.
Avon is in his 50's now but I get that they needed a real actor to do some of those Haywood scenes.
They obviously took some liberties with the story, but I bet the portrayal is closer to reality than they would like to admit. Better than washed over version with the main characters as producers.
