I listened to the Rewatchables on Scream. I actually dont mind these podcasts if the film is good.
They all pretty much loved scream and everything about it. I was mildly surprised. That piece is great. There was one nit they didnt pick though. When they killed Rose McGowan, she couldnt get the door to the garage from the house to open bc it was locked, she kept trying, even after the killer appeared. So he kills her, and then he just opens the door and walks in. It made no sense.

Girls are really stupid, dude. It wasn't locked at all; she was trying to pull instead of pushing.

Nice catch Balls.
Rewatchables is still like a 50% hit rate for me. Some are absolutely fantastic like The Town, Heat, etc and some are so fucking awful and phoned in. Simmons truly doesn't get up for all of them and my biggest wish is that he'd just hand the reins to Chris Ryan and Sean Fennessy.
Balls is correct. It's a good podcast if they're talking about a movie you really like. The whole point of it is to get you nostagic for an old movie you've seen a bunch of times. Don't over-think it.

This was overall a good episode but sometimes I think Simmons is either not paying attention or genuinely doesn't know who certain actors are.
He thought Michael Cera was old enough to "Play the Steve Zahn part in White Lotus" then Sean had to tell him Michael Cera was too young and Bill seemed completely shocked that Michael Cera was only 33 years old. Steve Zahn is 53.

What the fuck was that?
Does anyone want Michael Cera in anything ever? Guy is a bozo!
I'll probably try this one, but i want to know if the back on my cock line didnt age well with these twats....so did they mention it I do like the blonde in that scene, she's actually hot unlike that ginger hag you guys pretend is hot
I have some trouble watching this film now bc of two reasons, Michael Cera is the worst actor, he like spouts lines like Jonah Hill isnt even there. Bad actor. Also I hate Seth Rogen. Jonah Hill is also a cunt (ran into my elbow) but I like that he got miffed at Kimmel.

It was wild when they were talking about Michael Cera having one pitch but then somehow this movie showed his range? Michael Cera continues to have one pitch and has now outgrown it.
I’ve started listening. My one remark so far is about the guy that Simmons claimed it was his first movie and they both called him on it. I already forgot the dude’s name, but no one normal has ever heard of him or whatever the other movie was. I’m siding with Bill on this one.
