The best of The Ringer podcasts, imo, because they are pretty much timeless.
I just listened to the Rocky IV one. I was very NOT excited because it included Cousin Sal and did not include either Ryan or Fennessey. However, it was good and Cousin Sal, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, said something that made me laugh.
On the Wall Street podcast, Simmons was referencing Terence Stamp's renaissance due to Game of Thrones. Now, that's obviously a big fucking cast and I don't have the whole thing memorized...but I'm pretty sure Stamp wasn't on GoT. If he was, it was a tiny little part. And he made the point more than once, so it wasn't just a slip of the tongue. I was amused.

Let's go to the tape IMDB!
Terence Stamp was NOT in Game of Thrones. As for the renaissainc of Mr. Stamp's career as a result of not appearing in Game of Thrones... The first episode of that show aired on April 17, 2011. The last theatrical release on Stamp's resume that I've even heard of is The Adjustment Bureau, which was released one month before the GoT premier. It appears he did have a role in the Sandman/Aniston Netflix jawn "Murder Mystery" last year though, so he's back, baby!
yeah who the fuck is terence stamp? sounds made up
Did anyone else who didn't know who Terrence Stamp was until those Zod gifs were posted think we were talking about an African American? #reggieclevelandallstars.
