Netflix (& Chill)

Agreed on all counts. Bert would definitely be too high energy for me to handle in large doses. I’m sure he’d be fun for a little while, but I can’t handle maniacs for too long. Anderson definitely seems like a fun dude. 

Big Jay is the kind of guy I really want to hang with though. Which is sorta weird, because if I just saw him on the street and didn’t know who he was I’d have less than zero interest in talking to him. But his personality from The Bonfire and Legion of Skanks is just right in my friend wheelhouse. And seeing him on this show, I noticed that he mostly hung back and let the big personalities drive, but every time he spoke it was funny. Would hang. 

The wife and I watched some Netflix programming last evening.

Finished Season 2 of "Dead to Me".  Honestly I thought we had already finished this like 2 months ago, but it turns out we had one episode left.  I had sorta forgotten what was going on because of the long break, so twas confusing for a bit.  This show remains entertaining-ish in its absurdity, with a few decent laughs every episode.  I'll probably tune in for Season 3.

Then we pivoted to "I'm Sorry," a TruTV classic that I saw maybe 5-6 random eps of a couple years ago and have been meaning to dive back into.  So we started from the beginning and watched the first 2 episodes last night.  This show is outstanding.  Hard rec for anyone who enjoys laughter.

i watched the first episode of that Queen's Gambit show. it's bad. Has a very "This is Us" quality about it where it cannot go more than 10 minutes without a tragic downer. The wife loved it because of that of course, so i guess i'll half-watch the rest of it.

MEW likes This Is Us.   Everything has this extra meaning.   It is so annoying.   Also it is painful to watch that fat woman walk around.  I feel bad for her.  

Just finished S2 of Cobra Kai.


Uhhhhh...that escalated quickly.
