Yokel, thoughts on your QB transferring to Northwestern? That guy was a high recruit, but I guess didn't pan out. Ts.
he was extremely streaky but he did have D1 talent. based on how much better jeff driskel did after he got out from under Muschamp, i suspect Hilinski will do very well at northwestern.
That's what I expected to have happen with Hunter Johnson transferring there from Clemson, and he SUCKED.

my grad assistant QB set a bunch of records because eastern illinois is hot trash and probably should not have been playing a D1 team. This of course has started a needless QB controversy. If that kid is the starter for UGA in 2 weeks, he will throw 12 interceptions.
Jordan Burch (DE, highly rated recruit who hadn't panned out so far) picked off a ball at the line and took it 60 yards for a TD...he was the fastest guy on the field during the return. that was the highlight of the game for me.

I am a 32 point dog to UGA this weekend. I think that's an easy cover, but definitely expect to lose by 17 or so. My defense is pretty decent and their offense is still mostly broken, i bet this is even "close" in the first half before they run away in the 2nd half. i think you should bet a lot on USCe now in the event the line shifts.

What's the O/U on that game? I don't feel good about UGA covering that spread either.
I'm ready to steal Shane Beamer from you and bring him home
Sure about that? What a beating on Saturday, sucked all the air right out of the balloon again. I think Shane is good but there are lots of data points that say maybe this is not as much of a comeback season as it appears.
6-6/bowl eligible vs 2-8 last year is good! But we only have one more SEC win than last year (3 vs 2) and 2 of our cupcake games were not the cupcakes we were promised (ECU and Troy were close games in the 4th). SEC wins were Vandy (who required a last second TD to win), Florida (who completely imploded and fired their coach), and Auburn (who is Auburn and can only be trusted to make a game entertaining). 7th straight loss to Clemson is not really that upsetting in the scheme of things, they are way better than me, but this was the year where it felt like the gap wasn't as bad. 30-0.
We need a new OC, a retooled OL, probably 4 new WRs, and a QB from the transfer portal. Defense is pretty good though!
