What's the deal with that QB pose where they're just grabbing the front of their shoulderpads/shirt collar with both hands? I feel like I've seen this like 39 times in the last 2 weeks, but somehow it was hard to find a pic of it online. Here's one of Cam Newton; I feel like I've never seen him on the sidelines NOT standing like this. They also had a few shots of Kyler Murray doing this tonight. It's a weird look IMO; just unnatural and doesn't look very comfortable. Put your hands at your sides like a normal.

The shoulder pads are uncomfortable, and if you hold them like this it takes some pressure off and they don't pull back. I remember doing this for that reason back when I played football.
Another random football thought:
An NFL team, the Falcons, lost a game because they scored a TD instead of running out the clock and going for a FG. On Saturday a college team, Penn State, similarly lost when its RB scored an uncontested TD to go up 8 instead of running out the clock. Probably the first time that has happened in the same weekend.
