I have a random podcast thought... Why have so many podcasts gone to video, and who the fuck has time to watch A podcast, let alone many of them? They're supposed to be talk radio. You put them on in the background while your'e doing other shit, or you listen in the car. Sitting down and watching video podcasts is insane behavior IMHO. Young people are so weird.
While agreeing with your premise, I will also note that sooooooo many people have multiple screens anymore or are so used to having multiple tabs open that youtube is often played as background noise at this point. Probably as much as radio.

That's fair. I have opened stuff in youtube and just listened to it as audio, so I guess I can understand using youtube as a podcast player. Actually watching full podcast episodes seems completley bonkers to me. I assume there are people that do this.
That was my beef with you guys and netflix standup specials. I dont really understand the point of sitting on the couch and watching a stand up. Maybe buzzed or high or something. I like comedy on my headphones or in the car, unless its in person.

That’s a valid beef. I’ll sit down and watch one from time to time, especially if she’s interested in seeing it too. But I don’t need the video at all. I’ll sometimes play one on the Netflix app on my phone and just stick the phone in my pocket and listen on headphones while doing other stuff.

I listen to Ben Mon thru Fri and sometimes Sunday.
I listen to Candace, but I am fairly sure I can only get her Friday show, so i listen over the weekends.
I listen to Tales of Cleveland, which dives into local myths and legends and tries to find out if true. It is good bc they are all true and crazy and this guy proves them with interviews and facts.

I don't listen to anything Cleveland or Ohio State related though I have checked out Andre Knott and Zac Jackson's A to Z pod before.
