I may check it out some day during work. But if its fucking lame like those 3 espn cunts one, i wont peep. I am talking about this one. They tricked me into listening with some tease about something minorly sexual with Charles and guys, and then it was like nothing. PASS
Each week, sports writers Jane McManus and Julie DiCaro take a deep dive into issues surrounding women and sports, with lots of laughs along the way.
I listened to their inaugural episode last night, they interviewed Jemele Hill in Dec 2020.
Lots of white guilt, why can the NFL prop up Kaepernick but then not hire him. What?
Also they whined about something with the WNBA, how Brianna Stewart (who i suppose is white) was the face of some WNBA campaign. They couldnt believe that didnt go to a black player bc the league is like 80% black or something. Ridiculous. According to my quick research, this Brianna is quite decorated, and is likely one of the best players in the league. 1st pick in her draft and the shit below.
2× WNBA champion (2018, 2020)
2× WNBA Finals MVP (2018, 2020)
WNBA MVP (2018)
2× WNBA All-Star (2017, 2018)
WNBA Rookie of the Year (2016)
And Jemele has this new thought about the US that she kept saying, and which i am SURE she uses on her other platforms bc its so creative. She kept say that the "brochure" of America is amazing, freedom, landmarks, wealth. But the reality is that its really like staying at a Ramada when you thought you were getting 4 Seasons. She said brochure like 5 times. We get it.

Terrible podcast. Will listen again.
Sounds incredible. I laughed at your closing line. TY for sharing.
Can you imagine having to speak to Jemele Hill? Jesus Christ, I'd kill myself.
I have a random podcast thought... Why have so many podcasts gone to video, and who the fuck has time to watch A podcast, let alone many of them? They're supposed to be talk radio. You put them on in the background while your'e doing other shit, or you listen in the car. Sitting down and watching video podcasts is insane behavior IMHO. Young people are so weird.

It seems like a lot of different media eventually "pivots to video" and I have no idea who actually enjoys that.
