Another banger KOTH on yesterday's progrum. Cheri Jacobus is just absolutely hilarious. I think you could have made a case for Radio Free Tom winning round 1 though. Not only is it nuts to think we need to weed people out of something that not enough people are signing up for to begin with, but to be in favor of a Covid vax mandate in December of 2022 is just bonkers.
There was a comment at some point during the episode about how they're naming a post office after Pelosi. Missed opportunity for a joke about mail-in voting, in 76's opinion.
I liked The Progrum today. I dc about the Speaker thing (I don’t know what even that job does), so I skipped ahead to when Henn was on. From that point fwd - Idaho murders, something, then Adam Schiff talk that I figured would suck but it was great. They were fired tf up on this topic.
Anyone hear The Progrum yesterday? I am half way thru, and in the middle of KOTH. I am so happy to see Brainworms is back. I am in that segment now, but have only heard the first tweet by Jacobus and oh my fucking god. NUKE /CS

I listened yesterday, twas entertaining. Brainworms is the only competitor who ever has a chance against Cheri My Cheri. That chick is just an absolute fucking lunatic.
Dem or Journo was fun yesterday, too. Shoehorning Damar Hamlin into a retarded opinion about the Speaker vote was next level idiocy.
The Fifth Column is on the verge of surpassing Ruthless as my favorite "political" podcast. I'm definitely not smart enough to understand a lot of the stuff they talk about, but they're consistently entertaining and informative, while being far less partisan than The Fellas.
I enjoy their show so much that I'm considering becoming a paying subscriber to access their additional content; one pod a week just isn't scratching the itch anymore. FIF-famous Ben Dreyfuss seems to be a semi-regular guest on their subscriber-only recordings as well, which may just sweeten the pot enough for me to throw them $10 this month and see if it's worth it.

TY for your time.
They are easily number one for me but, like you, sometimes I spend about ten minutes wondering what the hell they are talking about because they are seemingly smart af

The latest Tim Dillon Show was positively delightful. Just him and another comic (Mike Recine) making fun of TLC shows (mostly that one about the 23 year old broad that looks 8, which we discussed briefly in the shouting box) for most of the time. Little bit of talk about Splash Mountain's racism as well, but most of the hour is shitting on TLC. Many laughs were had. Check it out if you're into that sort of thing. Or don't; no skin off my tits either way.
Earl, I have a question about The Fifth Column, which was prompted by Balls' post about words that normal people don't use.
What in the fuck is with the term mow mow (Mao Mao?) that Moynihan uses all the time? I have never heard this from any other human, and he says it on almost every episode. From the context in which he uses it, it sounds like it's supposed to mean something like "berate" maybe? Which makes me think maybe it's Mao-Mao and came from Maoist struggle sessions or something?
(You could probably just look this up yourself, Wolf.)
I've done some brief internet research and have found the following entries from urban dictionary:
Mao mao: Phrase indicating a state of euphoria usually sexual in nature but can be used to indicate something that is generally pleasing.
Mow mow: When the male penis erects to such a length that it peeks out of the neck and or arm hole of a t-shirt, sweater or other article of clothing. Usually occurring during speaking to a female the penis proceeds to say "Mow Mow" and poke the female on any part of her body.
Mow mow: A catch phrase used predominantly in the southern Appalachians that can mean nearly anything but most commonly routine expressions which are easily interpreted like 'hello', 'yes' or 'thank you'. Context, intonation & non-verbal cues are often the key to interpreting actual meaning.
Mau-mau: to intimidate (someone, such as an official) through hostile confrontation or threats usually for social or political gain.
Oh, there's at least three references every episode that blow right past me, almost always from Moynihan.
He's obviously studied a lot of the rise of the Third Reich and the Holocaust because he will say stuff like, "Yeah, this isn't at all reminiscent of the __________" and it's some weird moment in German history that includes some city name and a riot.
