The corner returns from a one week board induced hiatus. I went 2-1 the week before with no analysis. Maybe I should do that more often.
Cleveland -3 @ CINNCINATI
The Browns are the good bad team for this year's NFL. They beat just about every team that is not good, and have no chance against quality teams. The Bengals stink.
Dallas -3 @ WASHINGTON
Almost identical analysis for the Browns-Bungles game. Even with Dalton at QB, the Cowboys have enough talent that they should have no problem with the Washington Football Team.
Green Bay -3.5 @ HOUSTON
The Packers will have a clunker of a game here and there, but anytime you are giving Romeo Crennel only 3.5 points you have to bet against him. Loved him going for 2 for a nine point lead instead of kicking the PAT for an 8 point lead last week. Of course, that cost him. Just glad he is not making those bone headed decisions for my team anymore.
They should name this sequence the Crennel: Call a timeout to consider a challenge, make the challenge, and lose the challenge. Cost the team 2 timeouts. He did that multiple times with the Browns.
The corner had the always interesting 1-1-1 week. It would have been a 2-1 week, but Cody Parkey for the Browns missed the PAT after the game winning TD. jman, knows what I mean. There have been huge line swings these week. I should have posted the picks with more favorable lines on Monday.
GREEN BAY -6 vs. Minnesota
I think the Packers are really good with only one inexplicable game. The Vikings are trading people and lose to the Falcons. Easy cover for Green Bay at home.
Tennessee - 5.5 @ CINCINNATI
The Bengals offensive line may get Joe Burrow killed in this game. If the Browns are 3 point favorites against the Bengals, the Titans should be at least 7 point favorites.
Indianapolis -3 @ DETROIT
I can't really find another game I like, so I will just default to picking against the Lions when they are getting 3 points or less. That should be in a gambling manifesto or something.

Wow, that was a crazy 1-2 week. Green Bay just will have a bad game once in a while, and it stinks if you pick them. Granted they were shorthanded, but the Packers destroyed the 49ers last night. Not sure what to say about the Titans loss to the Bengals.
Baltimore -1.5 @ INDIANAPOLIS
Lamar Lamar has looked suspect lately, but he is good enough to beat the Colts who are not a good team.
New England -7 @ NEW YORK JETS
The Patriots are not good, but the Jets are historically bad. Team should quit soon.
Seattle -3 @ BUFFALO
Sorry 31, Russ v. Raw Josh should be no contest. Bills defense is not as good as we thought it was.
At Dr. Jeckyll's request 3 favorite underdogs this week. I assume who I believe has the best chance to win the game outright?
Another poor 1-2 week. Did not see the Seahawks getting shredded by Raw Josh. Also, the Patriots are apparently much worse than I thought. On the bright side, all 3 of the underdogs I liked won outright. You are welcome Untouchable.
TENNESSEE + 1.5 vs. Indianapolis
Need to go back to picking home teams on Thursday night. The Colts are bad. They really are. I think the Titans win outright.
PITTSBURGH - 7.5 vs. Cincinnati
The Steelers have the most sacks in the NFL, the Bengals have given up the most sacks in the NFL. Good enough for me.
Philadelphia - 3 @ N.Y. Giants
I have a faith in the Eagles that is not supported by any objective evidence.

Underdogs I like to win:
Tennessee as mentioned above
Buffalo + 2.5 @ ARIZONA
Seattle + 2 @ L.A. RAMS
Last week 1-2
Season 9-14-1
Good Luck!
You didn’t see the worst passing D of all time getting shredded? Interesting analysis.
The Colts suck; there’s no way they should be favored against Tennessee. I could see the scrappy Bengals keeping it close enough to cover, but Pitt definitely seems like the right pick. There’s no way I’d bet on an NFC East game, but I guess if you had to this pick looks decent. I like your chances for at least 2-1 this week. Good luck!

N.Y. Giants +2.5 @ WASHINGTON

New Orleans +5 @ TAMPA BAY

Sorry mj, I usually check this thread towards the end of the week, I forgot about my little request. Nice work. For your underdog picks this week I like Buffalo, don’t like Seattle.
