So one scenario I haven't seen, and I'm too lazy to look up exactly how it works so I'll just post it here, is this: Top 4 conference champions get byes--that's clear and right now that's Oregon, Texas, Miami & Boise State I've then always heard that the highest ranked G5 team gets in...but as of right now, they're already in with one of the byes, and it's the Big 12 that's currently stuck with the 12 seed. So I've seen everyone just assuming that the Big 12 team gets that slot...but what if the Big 12 continues to clusterfuck and like a 3 loss ASU (or Colorado or ISU) beats BYU in the Big 12 championship team. Could Tulane or Army get that automatic bid over the Big 12 team if they were seeded higher than the actual Big 12 champ?

what’s interesting is that no one in the Northeast really cares about college football outside of people who went to Penn State. It’s interesting how regional things can be
12 team playoff fucking sucks. Boise State getting a bye? What effin conference are they even in?
Tulane?
God.
Rick Neuheisel was saying today that he could see doing away with conference title games (which are completely meaningless now) and do some sort of play-in tournament like they do in Dayton.

Awesome 🙄
your sport is nothing like it was a decade ago. It’s the NFL with 120 teams. Just accept it

I looked, it's the 5 highest rated conference champions, no protection for the Power 4. So, the AAC could potentially leapfrog the Big 12. Thanks.
Balls, you can’t like things for the wrong reasons, dude. Just admit he’s right about whatever he’s trying to convince you of. It’s easier for everyone.

He’s saying that the sports atmosphere of college football matters so much that it separates it from the NFL.
i say that only matters to people who put a value on it.
I didn’t say he was wrong. Much like I never said homosexuality is a mental illness. The CT school system has failed you all.
