I like the moves they have made this offseason. They want to strengthen the team's Centers and with Domi and the guy from MTM they have done that. Stinks that Wennberg had to be bought out, but his production is down.
They have to decide which goalie is their #1 for the foreseeable future. Not an easy call between Elvis and Joonas. Hopefully, they make the correct choice.
Contracts are going to become expensive, so they have a short window to be a dangerous team.
The player I took 3rd over all a few years ago, Pierre Luc-Dubois, got butt hurt during contract negotiations, signed a 2-year deal and then demanded a trade.
Here is his last shift this season, where he was benched and then traded:
He got traded to Winnipeg for another good player that was unhappy, and another player who is from Columbus that wanted to play in his hometown.
I have a 4 game series with Flush starting tonight. I need to go at least 3-1, and perhaps 4-0 to turn this season around. Otherwise, I might start tanking. Probably fire Torts, too.
Torts is not coaching my team next season after 6 seasons.
UEM: use this in your next pre-game speech:
“Forget about skills. Forget about Xs and Os. It’s a fucking mindset of fucking believing. It’s amazing what can fucking happen. So you fucking stand in there. You stand in there, and you don’t take a god damn backward step. Not for a fucking second.”
I named Brad Larsen as head coach. He has been with the organization since 2010, was an assistant under Torts, and was in charge of a disastrous power play. Taking lead from the NBA, supposedly the players were pushing for him to be hired, and I imagine most of them will leave or be traded.
I would have preferred Gallant or the fired Rangers coach.

Goose, thoughts?
No one knows who any of these people are. Sweet league you have here, Ogie.

Is Vingeault the fired Rangers coach? You didn't want him
