He didn’t disappear, but the Dems don’t want him because they’re determined to run a dead guy. My poll scouring indicates he could be the highest-performing third party candidate in a really long time. Which means he has no chance to win of course, but I don’t think he’s going away.

But facts are facts, he's resonating with enough people that they can't make him go away, and they can't fully support him. let’s assume Biden’s 81 million votes are real…. Haha ok let’s assume. I think the problem for the Rs (and Theny will yell at me) is that they have 78 million or so votes but I know a large amount of those votes are “trump only” votes. It’s an issue.

The massive fields the Republicans have put out there the last 2 contested cycles have definitely helped him. Scattershotting 5% support across 6 different people makes it pretty easy for someone with 40% to keep an iron grip on how the nomination goes. The Dem shenanigans in 2016 with Bernie were bad. IMO in 2020, they were more straightforward--the party put pressure on the stragglers to drop out in order to create a united front. Either Trump just holds too much sway or Romma McDaniel is too ineffective to do that.
Also, Vivek is Trump. He's Trump's proxy essentially in these debates. IMO, he's interference to help maintain Trump's position with the idea if that something happens to Trump (prison, death, etc), then he could potentially step in and take that spot.
Credit where it's due, this 8 minute speech from Hillary is one of the best things I've seen from anyone on Israel-Palestine. Sunny Hostin tried to take it off the rails with her retardery, but she pretty much nails everything here IMO.

This isn't way off from hearing Nikki Haley talking about issues like this. I'm sure some people look at that as evidence of the "swamp" but I think it's the people who actually have seen and had to deal with this shit firsthand. That's a good point. I suppose actually working directly in foreign policy allows you to understand what's really going on instead of just spewing catchphrases from the comfort of Rich Shitheadville, Massachusetts. We should have some random undergrad from Harvard be the next Secretary of State; that will fix everything.
