I attended two #tpt games in Oakland this weekend. This is my recap.
Friday night I went with ER doc chum, law school chum, and law school chum's 14 year old son who is really into #tpt.
We met here inside the park:

Really cool idea and concept. Of course because it was in Oakland, hardly anyone was there.
I had this beer there:
I had another one of them during the game. They were very tasty IPAs.
I also had a Goose Island IPA during the game. They were all big beers.
#tpt won 9-8 in a very exciting game. Josh Naylor hit a 2 run HR in the 7th to make it 9-8.
During the game there was a guy wearing a Bryan Shaw jersey a few rows ahead of us. My friend and I remarked how we had never seen anyone wear a Bryan Shaw jersey to a game. Curiosity got the best of him and he went to ask him about it after the game ended. Turns out it was Bryan Shaw's uncle. Also, a lot of Shaw's family was there including his mom. LDOT, you should stop banging Wolf's mom and move on to Bryan Shaw's mom. She was very attractive for a woman who had to be in her mid to late 50s.
After the game there was a star wars drone show. I had never heard of such a thing, but it was pretty cool.
We moved up from our rows and sat in these comfy leather chairs. As you can see they let fans on the field. We went down on the field after the show. My son's friend got a pic with sotsg-famous Steven Kwan. Really nice guy.
The next day just my law school chum and I went to the game.
We met here for lunch before the game:

Good Mexican place and it was nice to eat outside. I had the Chilaquiles Verdes with carne asada.
I had one of these beers:
And a La Picosa margarita. The beer was fine, the margarita was good.
We had front row seats even with the #tpt bullpen mound. I realize they have to put in netting, but it really impacts the view. The nets the A's use appear to be very distracting. We actually moved up 2 rows so the netting wasn't as distracting. We talked to two sets of #tpt fans that we had sat near and talked to the night before. One guy was crazy in a Jose Ramirez jersey and a pink hat. He had no affiliation with Cleveland just picked them as his team in the mid-90s because he liked them. He had a chunky Asian girlfriend
At the game I had a Lagunitas IPA and another one of those Hop Valley beers. #tpt won 3-1 in another entertaining game.
I went back to ER chum's house for dinner. He grilled steaks with sweet potato and asparagus as a side.
We paired it with this wine:
It is one of our favorites as we first had wine from there on a trip to Napa years ago.
We had a second bottle, but a little less expensive:
My law school friend knows the winemaker. He makes a ton of different varietals and some are good, and some not so much. This one was pretty tasty.
A fun trip, great weather, good time with friends and two #tpt wins.
