I don't really watch ESPN, but I know they just gave the women's soccer team an award for having the bravery to constantly cry until they got a bunch of money they don't deserve. So I can definitley believe that they're pushing the WNBA much harder than anyone cares about.

ESPN is on in the gym every morning with Sportscenter and there is an inordinate amount of WNBA highlights and at the top of the hour, too. Also, my phone gets push notifications from ESPN for all manner of WNBA stuff that I did not ask for and will never care about.

There's also zero other sports going on right now so I get that ESPN pushes the WNBA a little more than should be expected. Plus, ESPN is in bed with the NBA so it benefits both of them to promote them nonstop.
