Absolutely riveting action. And you assholes still won't watch because god forbid you support women, especially when they're predominantly LGBTPOC. SMDH
I turned over from the football game to check out the overtime.
I was suprised to learn that this was NY's first title. You would have thought that David Stern would have made sure of it back in the day.

I enjoyed it. I appreciated YouTubeTV doing the WNBA/NLCS/NFL tri-box, was good background noise. Sabrina was absolutely awful. For being the greatest "winner" in women's basketball history, Breanna Stewart looks panicked at all times. The Lynx absolutely got robbed on the foul on Stewart that sent it to overtime--they reviewed it and it absolutely was a clean block and they just made up a reason to uphold the call.

I love when people say shit like this and think they made some huge profound point and totally OWNED the other person.
"The right wing" is not trying to protect women's sports. The people that you so desperately need to be irredeemable sexist monsters simply want to protect women and girls who play amateur sports. And it has nothing to do with whether or not the WNBA in entertaining. I don't want to watch the WNBA because it's a shitty brand of a sport I don't even like that much to begin with. But if my daughter played basketball and there was a girls' league and a boys' league, I would want her to be playing against only girls. It's about competitive balance and safety, and that's why they have 2 different fucking leagues in the first place.
Wanting to keep boys out of girls sports and not liking the WNBA are not remotely contradictory beliefs unless you're retarded.

wolf I’m glad that you come to that conclusion I know others that aren’t sure whether my daughter at 5’3” 120 lbs should play against 17-18 year old boys who think they are girls.

My oldest kid is in his first year of full-contact hockey. It's 13-14 year olds, and he's like 4'7 and 75 lbs playing against some kids that are literally twice his weight. My wife loses her damn mind sometimes over fear that he's gonna get hurt; I can't imagine how she'd feel if he were a girl playing against boys at the same age.
That being said... Girls are allowed to play in this league, and he's played against a few teams that do have some girls. But there aren't boy and girl divisions; it's a coed sport with some all-girl teams/leagues that they can play in if they choose. I don't think I'd do it for my daughter unless she was really good and/or really big. But if the kid and the parent are willing to take the risk of playing against people that on average are bigger/stronger/faster, have at it.

a co-Ed league is a co-Ed league. Everybody knows what they are getting into. I still don’t understand how there’s no middle ground. If Bobby wants to dress up and say he’s Brenda, he shouldn’t get beat up or bullied. But in exchange for that can they stay in their lanes with locker rooms and sports?

I don't think it's profound but it does absolutely annoy me that places like Outkick promote Riley Gains as a brave freedom warrior knowing full well that they'd happily shit on her sport given the chance. I think normal people absolutely can fall into those camps without hypocrisy but trying to drive traffic to your website by playing both sides of the coin is annoying to me.

I'll allow it.
ETA: I can't believe you want to put normal people into camps, you fucking fascist.

The Indiana Fever (Caitlin Clark's team, btw) hired a new head coach--Stephanie White. I vaguely remember her from when she was in college (she won a national championship at Purdue).
