Also I know it's not a huge place and they don't get a shitload of snow, but 15 plows to handle a whole country (unless these are just samples and there's more out there) is kinda funny to me.

How closely do you guys track the weather if it's potentially going to impact your plans? I guess I'm talking specifically about plans that you can't really control, like kids' sports in my case. I'm on a group chat with the guys I coach little league with, and they're like sending pics of the radar maps and going back and forth with their analysis of whether they think we'll get our game in tonight. Either we're gonna get an email saying it's cancelled, or we're not. I'm not wasting my time following the storm's path all fucking afternoon; I have important shouts to make.
Is this a "Wolf just doesn't pay attention to things because :hairflip:" situation? Or are these dudes way too into tracking weather patterns? Maybe somewhere in between? Iono, I feel like they're kinda crazy.

i will get very into it if it's for something i don't want to attend. "honey look at this shelf line, there's no way the farmers' market is going to be open"
if it's for the kid's stuff, yeah, i get the email/text saying it's canceled, i probably would never even know that bad weather was coming until i got the cancellation notice.

It is going to pour for like 40 minutes. Then stop.

I look at it if I am considering taking the dogs for a hike. Not fun to get stranded in the mountains in a rain storm. For golf plans I look at it more casually. If it looks awful, I won't go.

I get paying attention to it if it's going to influence your decision about whether or not you're doing something. But if it's either going to happen or not based on someone else's call, I'm not looking at a damn thing other than my email/texts.

Whenever I'm in that situation, I just look at the maps over, and over, and over...
