I heard a scout (or someone) say that CJ Stroud has a California laid-back attitude, aka lazy. He also got terrible marks on his wonderlic. “Stroud scored 18,” an executive said. “That is like red alert, red alert, you can't take a guy like that."

My random draft thoughts (plus specific Iowa ones):
I think I like Stroud the best of the QBs. I loved Richardson coming into this year but he just didn't do anything.
I took a flyer on the Bears drafting Bijan at 9. I think he's a stud.
I like Wolf's little WR the best for receivers. His highlights are awesome.
Laporta is another good Iowa TE. Runs like a truck. Kind of an above average at everything guy.
No real OL thoughts.
DL-Jalen Carter was the best player I saw in college last year. Van Ness from Iowa is really good, the d-line was really noticeably more disruptive every time he was in there. Absolute athletic freak. I also like Will MacDonald for ISU, seemed like he was in the backfield constantly.
LBs--Jack Campbell could wind up being really good, kind of Kuechly-esque.
CB--Love Illinois's CB Witherspoon. Thought he was one of the best couple players in the B1G last year.

I'm talking myself into Levis over Young for some reason although I think the Panthers take Young. Young's size is concerning and I could see the Panthers coaching staff looking at someone like Levis as a guy they think is the next Josh Allen. I'd be fine with Stroud as well.
I don't think Bijan goes that high. I keep seeing the Cowboys linked to him but I think he goes in the late teens.
I like the comp of Carter to Chris Jones. If Carter keeps his head straight he can be a force.

More concerning: Young's size or the size of Kite's Levis?

I kind of hate Levis. To me he's 4th behind Stroud-Richardson-Young. I think it's because he couldn't beat out Sean Clifford.
It's not quite "Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play football? We ain't come to play SCHOOL" but nice to see CJ continuing on the proud tradition of tOSU QBs.
Apparently that test Stroud bombed has been around a few years and is supposed to measure split second decision making. You can’t study for it. Also, Baker Mayfield has the record high score on it.

Yeah, but it's the one that Young did awesome on and Purdy supposedly aced too, so it's very in vogue right now.
