He is substantially worst.

Prior to me quitting his staff to go to Lakeland, we had a near two-hour conversation during which he advised me to go because he was never going to give up calling plays, thus I would never be his offensive coordinator.

So, I took the job at Lakeland. He immediatedly texted in the coaches group chat that I was a liar who was backstabbing him.

He fairly routinely gets into it with other coaches, including some on his own staff, because he a loon and, likely, drunk.

They should have predicted that I would get a text after the game from the opposing team's head coach threatening violence against me. To go with the death threat from pregame directed at other coaches on our staff.

Fun night.

Normal stuff to do over children’s sports.

McClenny is a muscled up black dude who accused me of having our kids line up on the 50-yard line (a big no-no).

About the ninth time that he yelled it, I replied that I had nothing to do with it.

He responded, "Yeah, act like you don't know nothing."

I then replied, "I don't even know who you are" while walking away.

Truth is that the kids did it on their own to make a statement. We did not back up said statement.

At some point in the verbal tussle, one hanger-on on their side told one of our coaches, "This guy will bury you" while pointing at his co-coach.

Pre-game.

Teams usually line up around the 40 or, at most, the 45. Leaves a buffer between the two teams.

Additionally, lining up on the 50 also means that we were standing on their logo which is considered disrespect.
