I just, I don't know, didn't really like that '18 as much as '07, or even '13. It seemed to easy, they seemed too good, and after Alex* was suspended it cheapened the year. Sure, '04 and '07 were juiced out of their tits, but w/e. I can't deal with Apple watches.

Don Gullett worked seven innings limiting the Brewers to five hits and two runs to earn the victory. Johnny Bench and Dan Driessen each homered for the Reds with Dreissen's being a go-ahead shot in the seventh.
The Reds jumped out to a 4-0 after four then held off a Brewers comeback as Milwaukee scored one in each of the seventh, eighth, and ninth innings. Gary Nolan picked up the win for Cincinnati getting support from Cesar Geronimo who drove in two and Tony Perez who scored twice. Joe Morgan added a solo homer.
The Reds led 5-1 after four, but the Brewers scored twice in the sixth and twice more in the eighth to force extra innings. However, Cincinnati put two on the board in the thirteenth to win their third straight in the series. Joe Morgan led the way with five hits including a homer, scoring three times and driving in two. Johnny Bench scored twice in support while Tony Perez added three steaks. The Brew Crew was headed up by Don Money who took his baby home tonight with two homers and three ribeyes.
The Brewers led 4-1 after five, but the Reds scroed four in the sixth highlighted by a two-run double from Tony Perez that proved to be the game-winning runs. On the night, Perez drove in four on three hits, two homers, and scored three times himself. Jack Billingham went seven innings scattering seven hits and four runs before Will McEnaney and Rawly Eastwick closed it out.
Waite Hoyt pitched the Yankees to an opening game victory with a complete game three-hitter while striking out five. he got support from catcher Pat Collins who drove in two to lead the offense.
Leading 5-4 entering the eighth, the Yankees blew it open with a three-run inning en route to their second straight win. Lou Gehrig homered, scored twice, and drove in three to lead the Yankees while Babe Ruth added a two-run shot and scored twice, as well.
A five-run second inning highlighted by a three-run homer by Zoilo Versalles off starter Urban Shocker gave the Twins a 5-2 lead that they pushed to 6-3 with a Rich Rollins homer in the sixth. A two-run Gehrig homer in the seventh made it a one-run game and, though New York got two guys on base in both they eighth and ninth, they were unable to plate them. Versalles' three ribeyes led the Twins while Rollins scored twice.
The Yankees got homers from Bob Meusel, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, and Joe Dugan in lighting up the Twins in game four. Gehrig led the squad with four rbis while Lazzeri added three. Both Meusel and Ruth scored three times in support. Meanwhile, a trio of yankee hurlers - Dutch Ruether, Myles Thomas, and Joe Giard -- limited Minnesota to eight hits and two runs.
Back in New York for game five, Babe Ruth slugged two homers, both solo shots, to lead the squad to the series clinching win. Gehrig added a solo homer of his own and Pat Collins cleared the left-center wall with a two-run blast. Waite hoyr worked 8.2 innings before Wilcy Moore recorded the final out.
