Watched Blackkklansman last night. Solid flick, good performances, etc, etc. Spike still makes some weird directorial choices that can be oft-putting, but generally he made this one pretty straight forward. Would recommend. Also, I had no idea that Buscemi's brother was an actor.
I liked this film also. I think I previewed it on the old site.
I don't know why, but I really dislike Adam Driver. He was good in this though.

Big, big fan of that movie, but fuck Spike assholed it up the last 4-5 minutes....should have just let the story stand, imo.
I'm all-in on John David Washington and literally did not realize until Tenet that he is Denzel's son. Even Topher Grace nailed his role. One of Spike's best.

Do I smell a bet?
UEM - Top Spike movies list pls.
HM: School Daze, He Got Game, Crooklyn
5. Summer of Sam - Tremendous mood setting by Spike showing the tension of New York during the Son of Sam killings. Best John Leguizamo performance of his career? Probably.
4. Malcolm X - The "epicness" of Denzel taking on the role made this movie feel really bit at the time, but there really isn't that much memorable about it. Probably not even top ten for Denzel's career.
3. Blackkklansman - Well-told story, good mix of serious with comedy, overly preachy at the end, but Spike is gonna Spike, I guess
2. The Original Kings of Comedy - Really has nothing to do with Spike but he did direct it. Hard to believe that Hughley might have been the big name going in and the smallest name years later.
1. Do The Right Thing - Brilliant depiction of the tension between the three races. Will be archived as one of the top 100 movies of all time, really.

I've seen He Got Game, Summer of Sam, Klansman, and Kings of Comedy. OK.
Has Leguizamo had any other good performances that would even warrant being in the conversation?
As for the Ks of C... You make a good point about their relative fame, but Hughley is/was the best standup comic of the crew IMHO.
ETA: Balls has a point. 25th Hour is excellent.
