Fell down the Internet black hole last night. Discovered that the woman who played Ma'am on Webster also played the prostitute Cherry Forever in Porky's. And she was married in real life to Alax Karras, aka the sherif in Porky's and George Papadopolis in Webster.

One of my fraternity brothers has a brother who is an actor in LA. Mostly commercial work. I looked up his IMDB page, not much on there. A few bit parts, some voice work in small video games...
...and Barista #2 in the Tommy Wiseau classic movie, The Room.
Had to find a version on YouTube to rewatch it. Definitely him. For some reason the uploaded deleted all of the sex scenes. Weird choice.

Maybe it's the Mormon version.

I was scrolling the guide the other day and saw Planes, Trains and Automobiles was on AMC. I had just listened to the Rewatchables episode about it and hadn't seen it in a while, probably 15+ years. It was just starting so I flipped it on planning to watch a bit of it. It sucked me in for the entire movie even with commercials.
It was as funny and entertaining as I remember. Steve Martin and John Candy are outstanding. Surprised they didn't edit out the "Those aren't pillows" scene for the severe homophobia.
It is said all the time, but they don't make movies like that anymore and it is too bad.
