that's tough, do you get any $$$ for third place? I see your rb situation was just as bad as mine was. also, good move by your league not having kickers

Yeah I lost CMC and have been just grabbing warm bodies at RB when I can. Melvin Gordon and Darrell Henderson kinda held down the fort for a while for me. Last week they combined for 2.7 points (Henderson was on my bench, but still). Someone dropped Penny before the Week 16 games, which ended up saving my ass.

$500 for 3rd place, but 1st gets $1500 and it stings to have been that close to it.

Totally agree on the kickers point. We've played with 3 WR, 2 RB, and no Flex for like 15 years. Last year we dropped the kicker to add a Flex. It was the right move.

boston scott, darrel williams, aj dillon, rhamondre stevenson, devin singletary and rashaad penny all had multiple touchdowns yesterday. dalvin cook, aaron jones, mixon, and elliot all had 0. and derrick henry and mccaffrey have been gone for awhile. i've been this doing this somewhat already but next year i'm definitely going to shoot for the top receivers and one of the best quarterbacks first and then go for alot of depth at running back in the mid to late rounds and hit the waiver wire frequently. too many injuries at running back and end of the season there's always random rbs popping up and winning leagues.

Unless Boswell can outscore Diontae by 25 tonight, i've made it to the finals of my guillotine league. Guaranteed $500, so that's nice, but I don't have a good shot in the final unfortunately. Me and the other guy are pretty evenly matched, but I have Rodgers/Adams/GB Defense, as 3 of my 8 players, and they have nothing to play for. I can sub in Hurts and Lockett for Rodgers/Adams if necessary, but in the finals, that isn't an enticing thing. I also have no f.a. money left, and he has 3 bucks, so he can make any moves he wants. Our lineups as constituted right now:

Me: Rodgers, Taylor, Ekeler, Adams, Diontae, Kittle, McManus, GB def. Bench: Hurts, Lockett, James Robinson (IR) f.a. balance: $0

Him: Allen, Cook, Mixon, Kupp, A. Brown (LOL), Kelce, Tucker, New Orl def. Bench: Chase (whoops yesterday), Montgomery, Mattison f.a. Balance: $3

So he can plug in chase for Brown. And pickup any f.a. he wants not listed above. Kamara is a possibility.

It was essentially a dead tie before he started the run, if he had only gained a few yards I think I would have won slightly, so I didn't really need the touchdown but it was nice icing on the cake.

That touchdown didn't matter for the betting odds as the Browns were -3.5 and the O/U was 41 coming in.

This shit gets hard this week IMO. I have garbage available at RB, and not a whole lot better at WR and TE. I'm torn between gambling that the Chiefs are definitely gonna win and just using the best available guys from the other teams, or using the 2 decent Chiefs options I have now to make sure I get a game out of them. Flush, thoughts?
