I had, what i predict is one of the greatest fantasy weeks in history yesterday....in my guillotine league. So it means nothing, other than i move on to next week, where i'll most likely get eliminated.
Jalen Hurts: 31 pts Dionte Johnsons: 23 pts D. Adams: 31 pts J. Taylor: 53 pts. A. Ekeler: 42 pts. G. Kittle: 13 pts N. Folk: 16 pts. Ravens D: 15 pts.
Total 224 pts. The cutoff to advance was 77 lol. I really wish I could roll some of those over.

Taylor and Ekeler? Goodness--that's good stuff right there.
I think I had one of my work fantasy weeks yesterday. Started Russ over Hurts (OOF) and will end up losing by about the difference in their scores.

if this was DFS you could probably retire, every single pick hit except maybe Kittle. your team's a juggernaut

I don't think that's "his team" but I could be wrong. As I understand this guillotine thing, you pick a lineup every week and teams getting eliminated until only one remains. I assume you can only use every player once per season, like a survivor/suic*de pool. mj?

That is incorrect. You draft a team at the beginning of the year and that’s your team. Then you get $100 f.a budget for the season. As a team is eliminated each week their players go into the f.a pool to bid on. I spent a lot on Adam’s and Ekeler and only have 7 bucks left, so this is basically my team now. I’m in trouble week 13 or 14, whichever is the last bye week as Taylor and Hurts are on a bye. My bench is Edwards Hilare, Lockett and Minn TE

Ah, TY for clarifying. That sounds like a cool format too.
I like the look of that footballing team, Flush! Definitely will need some breaks at QB, but I think there's enough talent there to cover up for it if you get even servicable results at QB. Good luck! /mj
Here's my team from Friday night. Drafted 1st in a 12-team PPR. We start 3 WR, 2 RB, and a Flex - the Flex was a new addition to this league in 2021, replacing the kicker. OK.
QB: Ryan Tannehill RB: Christian McCaffrey RB: Darrell Henderson WR: Justin Jefferson WR: Keenan Allen WR: Julio Jones TE: Mark Andrews Flex: Robby Anderson DST: Colts Bench RB: Melvin Gordon, Ronald Jones, Rashaad Penny, Kenneth Gainwell (he's allegedly a backup on our Eagles) Bench WR: Marquise Brown, Rashod Bateman
I should have taken another WR with my last pick instead of Gainwell. I know WR is generally deeper than RB, but with starting 3 plus a flex, I don't feel good about my depth there. Maybe I'll pick up Christian Kirk or something.
Thankfully I've locked down 3 pass-catchers on the Ravens. That should work out really well. They'll be slinging it all over the place after the Dobbins injury.
No one cares. At all. But here's a post.
As predicted by nobody, this team survived the McCaffrey injury and made the playoffs as a 5 seed. I'll be a pretty heavy underdog to one Francis T. Tancis in the opening round, but if both Allen and Henderson play (they were out with the Deleted Variant this week), I have a shot. My big regret rn is that I considered picking up Rashaad Penny (who I drafted but obviously dropped a long time ago) like 10 minutes before kickoff last week, but he was playing at 1:00 and I needed someone playing late in case Gordon didn't play, so I left him on the wire. Someone else grabbed him a few minutes later, and now he's the "must add" this week according to all the pundits. Big miss on my part, as I'm really thin at RB heading into the pla-Yoff's. Looks like I'll be rolling with this:
QB: Taysom Hill RB: Melvin Gordon RB: Darrell Henderson (or Darrell Williams) WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: Keenan Allen
WR: Marquise Brown TE: Mark Andrews
Flex: Christian Kirk DST: Bucs
FTT's team is way better than mine:
QB: : :josh: RB: Saquon Barkley RB: Devonta Freeman (or D'Andre Swift if he's back this week) WR: Tyreek Hill WR: Deebo Samuel
WR: Hunter Renfrow
TE: Dawson Knox Flex: Tee Higgins DST: Bills
A Bills bed-shitting against our Panthers would be really beneficial.
Can we still ask fake lineup advice questions her? Flush?
I have to make a RB decision today. I can start Darrel Williams against the Chargers tonight, or I can bench him and wait to see if Darrell Henderson gets activated from the 'vid list for Sunday. If Henderson can't go, my backup option would be something called a Royce Freeman on the Texans (or I guess I could use Kenneth Gainwell of our Eagles).
FWIW, Yahoo's projections have Henderson as the best option, with Freeman and Williams being basically equal. But the consensus rankings over at Fantasy Pros rank them Williams-Henderson-Freeman. I think I like Henderson the most of this uninspiring bunch, but I'm not sure I want to take the risk of having to start a Houston Texan in a playoff matchup.

What say you, Untouchable?
tough sitch. I see Royce Freeman had 11 carries for 15 yards last week against Seattle, that doesn't seem possible. I don't think I'd play it safe since you're a heavy underdog, i'd probably take my chances on Henderson being available. Is christian kirk your best option at flex?

I agree with untouchable. I still lament a first round fake football game where I did not play a questionable to play Edgar Bennett. Guy I started in his place scored zero points while Edgar had a good game. If I started him I win the match. The guy who beat me went on to win the title.

I may not be as big an underdog as previously thought; there was a zero in my projection before Allen's status was updated. Yahoo is calling me a 9-point dog, 138-129. And yes, Kirk is my best Flex option IMO. My bench is stuffed with shitty backup RBs because I just needed bodies after losing CMC. The only other guy on my bench that hasn't been mentioned is Amon-Ra St. Brown. He's been pretty decent the last couple weeks, but I think I trust Kirk a bit more even though he's nothing special.
