Obi Wan is the dumbest effing show, even worse than Boba Fett.... smh
The 42nd installment of an overrated franchise is no good? Who could possibly have seen that coming?
the depths of the stupidity are astounding, you paid $4 billion for this franchise then apparently go bargain bin hunting for writers*
Vader and Reva: Obi Wan is all that matters
*Obi Wan escapes*
Vader: you failed me Reva: I put a tracker on their ship Vader: oh cool
*2 seconds later*
Reva (screaming because screaming=leadership/action/acting): OBI WAN IS ALL THAT MATTERS
beginning of 5th episode
Vader: Obi Wan is all that matters
umm... so why didn't you care the last episode when he got away? Why did fire suddenly stop you? Why can you pull a ship out of the sky this ep but you couldn't pull a droid carrying Obi Wan back across fire? Why is everything and everyone so dumb? Why is Obi Wan such a fucking pussy bitch in his own show?
Everything is stupid
*they went diversity hiring for writers instead of focusing on talent
ETA: Qui Gon is apparently the only person to die to a lightsaber through the guts. So goddamn stupid

With as terrible as the Disney SW movies were, why are you watching the shows?
Mandalorian tricked me that they were gonna ease their way back to some competence with the Disney head circumventing Kennedy some.... but nooooooooope

I didn't watch Boba Fett, I don't mind Obi Wan though I've been confused about what everyone is trying to do as well. McGregor is always good in the role and Vader kicking ass is fun. I think the most distracting thing for me is Ice Cube's kid and the dude from The Big Sick being thrown into the middle of the show but essentially just being themselves.

Having zero knowledge of the source material, I found the Ms Marvel show to be very charming. It might be my 2nd favorite of the MCU shows behind Hawkeye.

The original Ms. Marvel comics were very good. Unique art style, and good stories, even if they were basically just retreads of the same old Spider-Man kid-has-to-hide-powers-while-also-growing-up story. The "growing up Muslim" stuff didn't feel forced.
Then after a couple of years or so, I stopped reading comics regularly (about the time they closed down KickAss Torrents), and then at some point the whole thing went super-woke.
I understand the TV show is quirky in its own way and authentically Pakistani/Muslim. Everything I've heard about it has been positive, except from people who obviously would hate that kind of thing. It's a shame the Inhumans show tanked so bad. (In the comics Kamala Khan is an Inhuman, and her comic was part of a huge Inhuman push that put them up against the X-men/mutants that I really enjoyed.) I think the show just makes her a mutant, since they're slowly introducing them into the Disney MCU.

Been reading a bunch of old Marvel stuff the last year or so.
Read a lot of the 60's stuff when the Marvel universe launched. Those don't hold up at all. And Stan Lee was a very shitty writer.
LIked the 70' Daredevil books. Read most of the Civil War story. Skipped some of the side books. Pretty good crossover event.
Curgently reading the second generation of the X-Men that debuted in 1975: Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Banshee, and Jean Grey / Phoenix. I'm through the death of Jesn Grey in the early 80s. Really digging these stories.
I've liked She Hulk so far, really like the main chick and I didn't watch Orphan Black so this is my first exposure to her. Quick dumb fun, like that it's just a half hour. Some of the jokes miss but they go through them quick enough that it's a fun watch.
