I took some music class in college, and we had to write a paper on that very topic (although it was one album, not one artist). As a 20-year-old retarded white suburban kid, I chose DMB's Under the Table and Dreaming. I'm sure if I had to do that assignment today, I'd pick nothing because music is gay, but that's neither here nor there.
